It is my firm belief that if there is any action of others that infringes on your rights, or decreases your health evidently and takes a relative negative toll on how you live, that action should not be allowed. For instance, if smoking harms all of our air, our lungs, our health, possibly shaving off years from our lifetime on earth, there needs to be an end to it. If we choose to keep ourselves near people who commit the action, we could be liable (because we are putting ourselves in possible danger), but if not, their actions are things we can't change, and yet it hurts us! If someone drinks, they need to drink responsibly. If they go out on the road (which, at a certain level of intoxication, is strictly illegal and widely known to be so) while having drank just before they take the wheel, any quantity over the legal limit, they have a high potential to hurt someone else through their actions. That could be anyone's car they could jeopardize, even yours... likewise, it could be also any innocent driver and possibly passengers that they could kill if they drive recklessly under the effects of the overdose and make contact with them or do something they would never do if their mind was functioning properly. They should own up to their actions and deal with their own afflictions caused by them, you should not have to deal with that nonsense or be mangled because of that other resin who certainly didn't have your consent to do so.
These things should never be tolerated. We are all in danger because of the carelessness and ignorance of others. This alone is enough to make me question the state of mind our world has come to. We must tighten the reigns of justice, and free the oppressed. This talk of free rights that infringe on those of others is drastically inhumane and absurd. People can use their free rights to mess up their own lives, but not of others. Our happiness and life could be at risk from their decisions, and the Constitution even states that everyone has a right to that. If people don't hurt anyone besides themselves that badly, free rights are a blessing. But, if they are, steps need to be taken to prevent such a thing from happening. Too many casualties are taken by these poor choices of others. We all deserve better for our country of advancement (in reference to America), the leading example on the planet.**************************
Now, don't accuse me of being at a loss for patriotism. I love my country of pretty thorough liberty. I am never taking this out on the nation as a whole, especially when every region of the world has its issues that even greatly exceed ours in abomination. I am simply suggesting that rules need to be revised and the punishments for those who break them need to be larger . Their actions, after all, put us (obviously negatively) and our fates in their hands. They chose to start that action, regardless of their reasons why. We had no indication of what would be coming to us, so we cannot be held responsible and need to be protected. These things need to be verified as reprehensible, so no one feels like they could get any pleasure or praise out of doing them. In fact, it should be regret and deep disapproval people that people who do such things should get.
