Never believe what you hear unless you hear it from a truly solid source or you find evidence of the matter for yourself. Otherwise, you may be under the manipulation of false details. In addition, even if the source is reliable, aim to hear the side of the alleged "offender" if one is involved, or whatever the central buzz of the information is revolving around. People can use their biased perceptions to blur the realities of what actually happened sometimes, so getting more than one take on the scoop is essential to firm any of your own judgements. Don't settle for shifty confirmation.
