Even when completing menial tasks, give the best effort you can into finishing them. Small things may end up counting the most, and a boss hanging around may just notice your work ethic and hire you. Let's face it; not everyone practices what they preach. Promise to be the one that does a thorough job no matter how trivial things an undertaking entails are, and do the job with dignity. Others will notice.
