If you "talk the talk," the responsibility is all yours to "walk the walk." Don't surround yourself with a barrier of excuses to deny that you made your own mistakes; openly admit that you committed them and suffer the consequences, so that you may think twice before violating rules or ditching your vows the next time. No one will follow your lead in life if your words do not suffice because your actions don't match. If you pledge to be compassionate, for instance, deliver what you promised. It is through cautious, gradual steps and in "doing" that trust is built and polished to contentment.
