"What did you just say to me?" Rae asked as she looked through the glass.
"Ahh, so you're brand new to this, hmm?" The mysterious man asked, as he leaned against his knees, seemingly looking straight in her the eyes.
"What do you mean, new to this?" She asked curiously. His playful gaze made her mind spin. How could he look this good, but also, be so forward.
She's never met anyone like him, at least, not since Jin. He subtly reminds her of Jin which is annoying. He's incredibly handsome and poised, just like the man she's trying so desperately to forget.
She shook her head ridding herself of the thought and focused back in. Jin was the last person that she needed to be thinking about right now.
"Did they not explain what kind of club this truly was?" The taunting smirk befell his lips naturally as he fell back into the throne. His toned chest glimmered under the red light, and Rae couldn't help but to stare at him.
"Well, I mean they did, kind of. They told me what's not allowed, but that was about it," Rae said innocently.
"You're a vampire, right?" He asked her knowing her answer would be yes. For some reason when he asked the question she didn't cringe. When most people ask her what she is now, a slight hint of embarrassment crossed her face, and she shies away from a direct answer.
"Y-yes," she replied hesitantly. Her palms began to sweat as she put on display her truth. Even though he couldn't see her, something was telling him that she was uncomfortable now.
"Well, why did you want to come here in the first place?" He asked trying to gain any information out of her that he could. He tilted his head wondering what she looked like. He loved the sound of her voice, soft yet commanding. Needy but not desperate. It was making him hard thinking about the body this beautiful voice was attached to.
"I-I don't know. I thought it was just going to be a place to meet people who were, well you know, okay with what I am." The pain in her voice made his smile slightly dim. He did not like the fact that he could tell she was going through something. Leaning against his knees again he perked up his smile.
"Well, you're in the right place. The Night Owl club is designed just for that." He stood as he began to pace back and forth in front of the throne. It was then she noticed that he was barefoot. Normally feet made her want to gag, but his toes were short and cute. The exact opposite of the Adonis of a man they were attached to. The sweatpants he wore slightly fell exposing the defined lines that sat right under the waistband, and she couldn't help but to bite her lip.
He was a true fucking vision. She was terrible at measuring things. But he looked to be about 5'10 or just under 6'0 for sure, with a slim muscular build with broad shoulders. His right arm brandished a full sleeve of different tattoos, and his hair was long— jet black and wavy. It was hard for her to pay attention to what he was saying, as her eyes followed his every movement from left to right, watching his abs contract as he spoke.
"So, what would you like to do?" She heard his voice ring in her ears as her attention finally snapped back to him. Standing staring in the center of the glass, he leaned forward as if to look straight at her. Her voice hitched at the sudden closeness.
A devilish smile crossed his lips as he realizes that she was lost in the thought staring at his body.
"I'm sorry what did you say?" She asked confirming his suspicions. Clearly blushing now at how distracted she was, she hated that he could sense her awkwardness as he seemed to stare at her.
