Rudransh woke up to the soft buzz of his alarm, groggily swatting it off before reaching for his phone to check the time. "7:30 AM." He had a little more than an hour to get ready, but he had never been one to waste time.

With a sigh, he pushed the covers off and swung his legs over the side of the bed. The soft morning light filtered through the curtains of his bedroom, casting a warm glow over the space. It was a crisp winter morning, the kind that made you want to stay under the covers just a little longer. But there was no time for that today.

He stood up and stretched, feeling the stiffness in his muscles from the long hours he'd been putting into work lately. He was the Senior Marketing Manager at a growing food company, and though he loved the fast-paced challenge, it had been consuming him. He isn't that much into being an employee as he had always been the employer till few months back.

After a few minutes of staring at his reflection in the mirror, Rudransh took a quick shower, letting the hot water wash away the remnants of sleep. Once he was dressed by pulling on his crisp grey shirt, which always made him look effortlessly put-together he combed his hair with a few quick swipes and grabbed his bag.

He made upma and had it to the fullest. with his stomach full, he grabbed his bag and headed out the door. The moment he stepped outside, the cold air hit him, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. He mounted his bike, the engine roaring to life as he revved it and sped off toward the office.

As always, the drive gave him a brief moment of solitude. His thoughts wandered briefly to the day ahead. There were always a million things to handle . emails, deadlines, meetings but today, something felt different. Today, Daksh had called him in for a special meeting.

Rudransh wasn't the kind of person who got easily excited, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something big was going to happen today.

.............

At the office, Rudransh's arrival was nothing short of a spectacle. The moment he stepped in, heads turned, and the office's atmosphere seemed to shift. Women stole glances at him, their eyes following his every move. His charm wasn't just in the way he looked though, admittedly, his sharp jawline, perfect posture, and that effortlessly perfect smile didn't hurt but in the quiet confidence he carried with him.

His walk towards Daksh's cabin was like a ripple through the office. Rudransh was 'the man' in the building, the one who had unknowingly become the unofficial office heartthrob. His colleagues joked about it all the time, but Rudransh didn't let it affect him. He was here to work, not to be admired.

As he reached Daksh's cabin, he knocked twice before entering.

Rudransh : Morning !

He said by offering a casual but respectful nod to his friend and MD, Daksh.

Daksh looked up from the files on his desk, his face lighting up with a grin.

Daksh : Rudransh ! Good, you're here. Come in, sit down.

( DAKSH )

He gestured to the chair in front of his desk.

Rudransh took a seat by glancing at the stack of papers and the laptop open on Daksh's desk.

Rudransh : What's the situation ?

Daksh : Well, I've  finally selected an advertising agency.

Daksh began by leaning back in his chair.

Daksh : I've been thinking about it, and after reviewing all the options, I think we should go with Yamini's advertising company.

Rudransh raised an eyebrow.

Rudransh : Oh ! Is she worth enough ?

Daksh's smile widened.

Daksh : Absolutely. Her company has been making waves in the industry. Their creative concepts are bold, and they have the drive we need to push this brand forward. I want to take a risk this time.

Rudransh nodded.

Daksh even though a part of him remained skeptical. Yamini was known for her unconventional approach, and her company wasn't exactly risk-free. But then again, he  had always been the kind of person to bet on the unexpected. He is hoping that rudransh will give a nod.

Rudransh : Alright !

 Rudransh said, leaning forward slightly.

Daksh : I'll arrange a meeting with her. But we need to make sure her vision aligns with ours, and that her ideas actually serve the brand.

Rudransh : I knew you'd say that.

Rudransh replied with a wink.

Daksh : That's why I'm counting on you. You're the one who keeps us grounded, Rudransh. You make sure we're not just riding on hype.

Rudransh smiled, a little more reassured now.

Rudransh : We'll do a thorough review. I'll set up the meeting for this afternoon.

As he stood up to leave, Daksh's voice stopped him.

Daksh : And Rudransh... remember, this isn't just about business. It's about pushing the boundaries. For the company, yes. But also for us, for you. You've got that fire in you. Let's see where it takes us.

Rudransh paused at the door, a small grin tugging at the corner of his lips. He wasn't sure if Daksh was talking about the company or something else , maybe a deeper connection, a hidden challenge. Either way, he was ready. Ready for whatever this new chapter would bring.

With a quick nod, he left the cabin, his mind already turning over the possibilities. The meeting with Yamini would be the next big step. And though he had a feeling it was going to be complicated, Rudransh couldn't deny that he was intrigued.
