The air in New York had a crisp, energetic bite to it as the plane touched down on the tarmac. Yamini felt a surge of excitement mixed with the usual anxiety she always got before a big presentation. The city, with its endless possibilities and towering skyline, had always held a certain magic for her. This was the moment she'd been waiting for the culmination of hard work, sleepless nights, and relentless dedication.
As soon as they disembarked, they were greeted by Richa, a young woman with a professional air and a warm smile. She introduced herself as the assistant to Yamini's high-profile client, and with a friendly handshake, she took charge of guiding them through the bustling airport.
Richa : We've arranged for your rooms at the hotel.
Richa said, her voice is clear and efficient.
Richa : I'll take you there now so you can freshen up before your meeting with Mr. Wadia. The car's waiting outside.
Yamini nodded, thanking Richa as they made their way to the car. She was already mentally preparing for the presentation. The weight of everything, the deal, the expectations, the responsibility pressed down on her, but she wasn't one to let it show.
After checking in at the hotel, they were shown to their rooms. Yamini immediately headed to the bathroom, eager to freshen up and get ready. She removed the fake bangs clip that she was wearing to hide her pimple. It didn't take long before she was standing in front of the mirror, adjusting the hem of her dress, making sure everything was perfect for the client meeting. She always made sure to present herself flawlessly, but today, she felt the pressure a little more than usual.
Once she was dressed and ready, she grabbed her phone, scanning through a few emails before checking the time. She had a couple of minutes to spare, but Rudransh had still not knocked on her door.
'Is he ready yet ?' she thought impatiently.
She was about to call him when there was a knock. With a quick, sharp breath, she rushed to the door, opening it to find Rudransh standing there, freshly groomed and dressed in a sharp suit. He looked effortlessly polished, with the same casual air about him that had become familiar over the past few days.
