Ruhan's POV...

Ruhi's brows knitted together, the revelations overwhelming. "You... you're an Adamson?"

I nodded, my face a mix of pain and acceptance.

"Yes, I am." I said, the words heavy with emotion. "My real name is Aiden Adamson. I didn't want you to find out like this, but I can't hide it anymore. I'm part of that family-the family that cursed that bungalow. The family that's caused so much pain and suffering."

Ruhi's thoughts raced as she tried to process everything. "But why? Why didn't you tell me? What's the connection between your family and everything that's happening to me?"

I took a deep breath and leaned forward, my expression darkening. "I hate that bungalow. I hate what my family did, my grandmother did. She cursed that house before she died. And after her death, my sister Jenesis took her own life when she was only fifteen. That house has been nothing but a source of death ever since."

Ruhi's eyes widened in shock, her heart pounding as she absorbed the truth. "Your sister...?"

"Yes," I replied, my voice tight with emotion. "After her suicide, every fifteen-year-old girl who's come near the bungalow has died in a tragic accident. And I've never been able to escape it-escape the pain, the guilt. I've always wanted to run far away from it. And then there was Hina."

"Hina?" Ruhi repeated, confused but beginning to piece together the story.

My jaw clenched, my fists tightening. "She was always there. Following me, trying to get my attention. She thought... I don't know what she thought. But I didn't want her near me. I made sure to keep my distance. I didn't like the way she acted."

Ruhi's POV...

I felt my stomach twist, but I remained silent, afraid to interrupt him.

He continued, his voice growing colder. "Then, after Hina's death and after your accident-I couldn't stay there anymore. I left that bungalow in anger, furious with everything that had happened, with everything my family had caused. I ran far away, trying to forget it all."

I looked at him, feeling the weight of his words. "So, why did you come back? Why now?"

Ruhan's gaze softened, but there was still a sadness in his eyes. "I came back because I needed answers. That night, when I was at the bungalow... I found a letter. It was from my uncle and aunt. From there I came to know that my parents had died in an accident within a year of my leaving that bungalow. It was all tied to the curse. I couldn't run from it anymore."

I listened intently, my heart aching for him, for the family he had lost, for the curse that had haunted him all these years.

"But when I saw you for the first time." Ruhan continued, his eyes locking with mine. "I knew who you were. You had to be Hina's sister. And when I saw how you acted, how you were changing, I realized something was wrong. The curse was following you. The bungalow and its evil were trying to hurt you, just like it did to Hina."

I felt my breath catch in my throat. "But... why? Why is all this happening to me? What does this have to do with me?"

Ruhan stood up, his face filled with resolve. "It's not just you, Ruhi. The bungalow and my family are linked to all this. I've tried to fight it, tried to keep you safe."

Ruhan stood by my side, his face etched with exhaustion and determination. The weight of everything they had just endured pressed heavily upon him, but there was still one thing he needed to make clear.

"Ruhi," he said softly, his voice firm but filled with emotion, "we needed to break the spell. That's why I spent last night searching for my grandmother's diary. Esha helped me. It contains the dark rituals and spells that my grandmother used to curse this place... to curse us."

I blinked at him, my mind still reeling from the events that had unfolded. I struggled to process his words, but the confusion only deepened.

Ruhan continued, his voice steady but heavy with the burden of truth. "I had to find that diary because I knew that the only way to stop what's happening to you-what's happened to all of us-is to break the curse she placed on the bungalow. And I couldn't do it alone."

He paused, glancing at Esha, who nodded in silent agreement.

"I went to Father Daniel for help." Ruhan added, his eyes dark with memory. "I told him everything-everything that happened when I left you alone that morning. I felt something was wrong, but I didn't know how bad it was. So I immediately went to meet him. After meeting with Father Daniel, we knew what we had to do.
Father Daniel had been there with us, ever-present, every step of the way. I handed him the diary, and he had immediately begun preparations for the exorcism. But we were too late.
As soon as Father Daniel began the ritual, Hina left Anshika's body."

Ruhan's voice cracked slightly. "She took over your body. I don't know how... but I was too late to stop it. We're fighting to save you, Ruhi. We've all been fighting."

My head swam with the magnitude of it all. I was still struggling to grasp what Ruhan was telling me.

Esha spoke up, her voice softer now, as if trying to comfort her. "Ruhan, Sounak-they both fought for you that time, Ruhi. They've been trying to save you."

My head throbbed, a pounding ache that spread through my temples. I grasped my head tightly, as if trying to hold my fragmented thoughts together. Fear, anger, and confusion bubbled up inside me, each emotion making it harder to breathe.

"I... I don't understand." I whispered, my voice trembling. "Why? Why is this happening? And where is my mom right now?"

I asked urgently, my voice breaking. "I need to know where she is. Please, tell me. What happened to her?"

---

Ruhan's POV...

My heart sank at her words. My eyes softened as I saw the pain in her eyes. I wanted to tell her everything, to give her reassurance, but I didn't have the answers. We were still in the dark, still searching.

I crouched beside her, my voice gentle but filled with conviction. "We're doing everything we can, Ruhi. We're trying to break the curse and get you back to safety. We're not giving up on you. But right now, we need to find your mom. We'll find her. I promise you."

Ruhi closed her eyes, a tear slipping down her cheek. "I have to know where she is. Please... she's all I have left."

Anshika reached out and took her hand, Anshika's grip firm yet comforting. "We will find her, Ruhi. Whatever it takes, we will."
