{Unexpectedly Expected} [Jane x Jeff]

Chapter 28

Hi guys long time no see :/ been busy and lost all motivation. But let's get started.

January 5th

"Jane, Slender needs you in his office." Masky said as I opened my bedroom door.

"Okay, I'll be up there in a minute."

Masky nodded and I shut the door, turning around to change clothes. I changed into a turtle neck top and black jeans, slipping on my black converse. I walked out of my room and upstairs to Slender's office. Opening the large door to his office I saw Slender sitting at his desk.

"Masky said you needed me?"

"Yes, Jane I need you to go on a mission. I wrote all the details down and a map. There's an abandoned house nearby to stay in. You can chose who to go with you." Slender said, pushing a paper and map to me across the desk.

I walked up to the desk and picked up the paper, reading the details.

"If you'd like, I'd advise either Jeffery or Clockwork to go with you." Slender said.

I nodded. "I'll get stuff together and go now."

Slender nodded and I turned to leave. As I left his office I pulled out my phone, shooting a text to Jeff.

Jeff, Slender's sending me on a mission. He said I could bring someone. If you wanna come with.

He didn't respond right away so I walked back to my room and grabbed a backpack, putting in another pair of clothes, gloves, a toboggan, my small hand gun and toiletries. I threw on my black hoodie, putting the map and paper in my pocket, as well as my knife. I walked downstairs and took my backpack to the kitchen, putting some snacks and water bottles in the bag. Jeff came up behind me and laid his head on my shoulder.

"So Slender put you on your first mission huh?" He chuckled.

"Yeah, it should be easy, but it'll take 3 days."

He nodded and stood up straight. "I'll go fix myself a bag then."

"Okay, I'll be in the living room when you're ready." I said, grabbing some things to make sandwiches for when we make it to the abandoned house.

I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Sally sat watching cartoons.

"Where are you going, Jane?" Sally asked, pointing to my backpack I sat beside my feet.

"I'm going on a mission with Jeff."

"Oh, when will you be back?"

"Tuesday or Wednesday, why?"

"Oh, I'll make sure to make you a welcome back gift!" Sally smiled widely.

"Aw, you don't have to, Sally."

"I want to!" Sally grabbed my hand and excitedly shook my hand. "Please let me make you something!"

"Okay, okay, Sally. You can." I giggled.

She jumped excitedly and hugged me. "Be careful Jane!"

"I will, I'll make sure I make it back just fine to see your gift."

"You promise?"
