{Unexpectedly Expected} [Jane x Jeff]

Chapter 19

Jeff leaves with Smile and I'm left to my own devices. I look at TikTok before getting bored and looking for a game to play.

I couldn't find anything worth playing so my curiosity got the better of me.

The only people I have in my phone is Jeff, Clockwork, and Toby. I need to see if I need to redo my bandages and I'm sure Clockwork or Toby has EJ's number to ask for me.

Hey, Clockwork, it's Jane. Can you do me a favor?

Oh, hi Jane. Yeah, what's up?

You have EJ's number right? Or are you near him? I need to ask something.

Yeah, I'm downstairs with Toby right now, he's in here with Nina. What is it you need to ask?

I need him to come to Jeff's room if he can. I could just ask him in person. Probably should tell him to bring that bag he had last time too.

Okay, yeah I can definitely tell him for you.

After a few minutes, she comes back.

Okay, he said he can be there in a few minutes. How are you though? We haven't seen you since the party. We all know what happened but I just want to make sure Toby isn't messing with me. Haha.

Oh, yeah, I'm fine. I just can't walk. The last time I tried walking my wounds opened up again. That's why I'm in Jeff's room right now.

Yeah, I was going to ask about that. That's great that you're okay though. Also, Toby and Jeff said something about your face. Don't worry about that. You know we wouldn't judge you.

EJ knocks on the door. "Come in!" I yell. He walks in, bag in hand. "Clockwork said you needed me?"

"Yeah, I want to see what my legs look like and if they need rebandaging." He nods as I explain what I want. "Okay, sounds good." He sits on the bed and looks at my face for a moment before realizing I have already taken off the bandage of my cheek.

He begins to unbandage the ones on my thighs. "There seems to be no blood on it so that's good." He says. I nod and look at my now bare thigh.

It seems to be just a huge scab now. "I don't think you need the bandages anymore, but I still wouldn't walk for another few days." He says as he undoes my left thigh's bandage.

It looks the same as my right. He looks up at me and nods. "Your cheek looks healed too." I smile. "Jeff took it off earlier today, so I wanted to see how my legs looked." He nods. "I think I'm done here." He sighs and stands up, grabbing the old bandages and throwing them out. "Thank you," I say.

He nods and leaves the room. I get on my phone again, this time texting Jeff.

I just had EJ come look at my wounds, he said they're pretty much healed but he doesn't want to risk walking. You know to open them up again.
