Jungkook sat quietly in the living room, the evening light casting a soft glow around him.

In his arms lay Taejun, his tiny bundle of joy, who had just finished drinking his formula milk.

The infant gave a small, satisfied burp, his little face scrunching up before relaxing into a peaceful expression. Jungkook's strong yet gentle hands patted his son's back, feeling the delicate rise and fall of Taejun's chest.

It was moments like these that made everything worthwhile - the sleepless nights, the constant worries, and the heartache he carried inside him.

Xena entered the room with a respectful bow. "Master, should I put young master Taejun in his crib?" she asked.

Jungkook looked down at Taejun, his eyes softening as he shook his head. "No, let him stay in my lap," he replied, his voice a gentle whisper.

Aera, who had been watching the tender scene unfold, couldn't contain her excitement. "Jungkook, let's name him something cool like Min Jae! Jeon Min Jae sounds perfect, doesn't it?"

Jungkook's expression changed as if her words had jolted him from deep thoughts. He looked up, his gaze serious. "No," he said softly but firmly. "His name is already decided. It's Taejun."

Aera's eyebrows shot up in disbelief. "Taejun? That's such a plain name! Come on, I'm his aunt, I have a right in this. Let me choose something cool."

Jungkook gave a small, sad smile. "Noona, you're his aunt, and you do have every right. But his name was chosen by his eomma.

Taejun is what he wanted. And it's not a boring name," he added, his voice softening with a hint of melancholy.

"It's the most beautiful name because it carries his eomma's love. And i am sorry his eomma's has more right than you."

Mr. Jeon, who had been silently observing, couldn't hold back anymore.

"His eomma chose it? And where is he now? If he had so much love for his child, why did he abandon him? We were all misled by that false report, but he knew the truth, didn't he? Yet he still left."

Jungkook's jaw clenched, a wave of hurt flashing across his eyes. "Enough, appa. I won't tolerate any ill words about my Taejunah's eomma. He must have had his reasons."

Mr. Jeon scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief. "What reason could possibly justify abandoning your own flesh and blood? Tell me, Jungkook."

Jungkook's jaw clenched, his anger boiling, but he held it in, not wanting to wake or scare little Taejun. Without another word, he stood up and carried Taejun to his room. .

Once inside, he laid Taejun gently on the bed and curled up next to him. The strong front he had put on all day finally crumbled.

Tears he had held back now slipped down his cheeks, one after another. He looked at his son and whispered, his voice filled with sorrow and longing.

"Do you know, Taejunah? Your eomma... he was the most beautiful person I've ever met."

Jungkook began, his voice trembling. "I remember the first time I saw him. Your grandmother had taken up a catering contract for the Jeons, and he was in such a hurry that he stepped on my foot.

And your foolish appa here," he chuckled sadly, "i scoffed him badly. What an idiot I was wish i could go back in time so i can pull my ears."

Jungkook's eyes softened as he continued at the various memory, a faint smile playing on his lips as he caressed Taejun's tiny fingers.
