I was joking about going on hiatus
but yeah life is surely busy, i have this extremely life changing exam in May
And my whole educational career depends on it, which even lead me anxiety sometimes so pray for me to crack the exam

And writing for you people relaxes my brain

So dont worry i ll not going to starve you for updates

And if that happens then the only possible reason could be i am no more in this world

So relax, sit back and enjoy

And drop a tonnes of comments

I love you muah

Days started slipping by, and it became painfully clear that something was off with Taejun.

He wasn't his usual energetic self, and his favorite bike, the one he had wished for, now sat abandoned in the corner.

Jungkook noticed the shift right away. Taejun wasn't running around, laughing, or even showing interest in things he once loved.

Instead, he'd sit in silence, his eyes distant as if he were somewhere else entirely. It was unlike him, and it gnawed at Jungkook.

One evening, unable to take it any longer, Jungkook gently picked Taejun up, pulling him into his lap.

"Hey, champ," he murmured, kissing the top of Taejun's head. "What's up? You haven't been riding your bike. Do you not like it anymore?"

Taejun just shook his head, his eyes still focused on the floor, and the usual sparkle in them nowhere to be seen.

It was like he was looking through the walls, lost in thoughts Jungkook couldn't read.

Jungkook's chest tightened. He held Taejun a little closer, brushing a hand through his messy hair.

"Did you see something else you want?" he asked softly.

Taejun nodded eagerly, his eyes lighting up for a split second. Jungkook felt a flicker of relief.

Finally, he might get to the bottom of whatever was troubling his son. He chuckled softly, rubbing Taejun's back. "So, what is it, huh? Tell me, what do you want I will get it for you?"

Taejun nuzzled his face into Jungkook's chest, his voice muffled as he whispered, "I want eomma."

The room fell silent. Jungkook's smile faded, and his heart sank. He had expected Taejun to ask for a toy, maybe a new car, or a trip somewhere special.

But this was different. It wasn't something he could fix with a simple purchase or an outing. The raw, aching need in his son's voice hit him like a punch to the gut.

Before Jungkook could respond, Aera, who had been sitting nearby, took the opportunity to butt in.

"See? I told you," she snapped, her voice sharp. "He needs his eomma. You should get remarried, Jungkook. Stop being selfish and stop thinking only about him."

Jungkook clicked his tongue, a habit he had whenever he felt frustration bubbling up but couldn't express it freely.

He hated arguing in front of Taejun. Kids were like little sponges, soaking up everything they saw and heard. And the last thing he wanted was for Taejun to pick up on their bitter habits.

The tension hanging in the air like a storm about to break. So, instead of snapping back, he lowered his voice and muttered quietly, "Noona, don't you think it's time you head back to the Seoul branch? They need you there."
