Ch 269:
Han Jun-oh went to the university where Yoo Yeon-seo was attending in order to recruit him.
"Let's see..."
In 2011, before Yoo Yeon-seo left OneSeven, he casually took the college entrance exam as a joke and scored a perfect score, which Yu Chang-ho didn't miss.
Yoo Yeon-seo, who was forced to enter college, attended for one semester and then immediately went to the military. Although he did enjoy himself there, it wasn't something Yoo Yeon-seo had initially wanted.
Yu Chang-ho was worried that his second grandson might go off course again, so he made the decision. Yoo Yeon-seo, who had been acting out, followed without a word.
"Excuse me, where do I go to find the most handsome person in this school?"
"Pardon?"
"That, you know, Ju Seong's..."
"Ah... go to the Business School building."
The student, seemingly used to this kind of question, pointed toward the Business School building. Han Jun-oh, already grinning, headed toward the classroom. Students were coming out as the class had just finished.
"Excuse me, do you know where Yoo Yeon-seo is?"
"He just left."
Han Jun-oh grabbed a passing student and looked around. Was there a parking lot nearby? His pace quickened.
"Hey, Yoo Yeon-seo!"
After running, Han Jun-oh caught Yoo Yeon-seo just as he was about to get into his car, breathing heavily.
"...Who are you?"
"Oh, I'm..."
Wow, seeing him in person, he really looks the same. Han Jun-oh, flustered, quickly pulled out his business card from his wallet.
He was the CEO of Halo Media. Yoo Yeon-seo let out a sound of air escaping from his teeth.
"An entertainment agency?"
"We manage actors. We also do production."
"Alright, I'll think about it, so goodbye."
Yoo Yeon-seo carelessly shoved the card into his pocket and waved his hand.
What's this? It felt like a scout that was both familiar and annoying. Han Jun-oh had a hunch that he wouldn't be able to recruit him like this and grabbed the car door.
"Ever thought about becoming an actor? I came to recruit you, Yeon-seo."
Yoo Yeon-seo smirked. It was a smile close to a sneer. His tone was one that made the listener feel uncomfortable.
"You're not the first."
"Pardon?"
"The entertainment agency reps that came looking for me, I think three or so came yesterday."
Yoo Yeon-seo rummaged through his pocket and spilled all the business cards he had received onto the floor. They were all from agency CEOs, just like Han Jun-oh, not scouts.
Han Jun-oh found a familiar company logo among the scattered cards. They were his competitors.
"Still, think about it seriously..."
"Yeah, I heard the same thing. I'm not interested, so look for someone else."
Yoo Yeon-seo gently removed Han Jun-oh's hand from the door and closed it. The luxury foreign car carrying Yoo Yeon-seo sped off with a loud engine noise.
