He had seen scenes similar to the current situation among the countless movies and dramas he had watched since 2207.

"So, is this why they play hooky?"

It wasn't a situation where he had to sneak away from a teacher like a scene from a youth drama. He was just sitting in the van driven by Lee Taegyeom, gazing absentmindedly at the scenery outside the road, but since he was outside during the time he usually spent preparing for shooting on set, he didn't feel bad.

"Where did Yeonseo go?"

"Huh? I can't see him."

A few minutes after Yoo Yeonseo disappeared, people noticed his absence.

"Has anyone seen Yoo Yeonseo?"

"I think he went outside earlier."

"Yeah? He wasn't even smoking..."

A staff member headed outside. Every other car was there, but there was no sign of Yoo Yeonseo's van. The staff member returned to the set with a puzzled expression.

"Um... Yeonseo's car isn't there either?"

"Huh?"

"Could he have gone missing...?"

"I hope not."

Even if Yoo Yeonseo had a bad temper, he thought he knew how to separate work from personal matters.

"...Not answering? Hmm?"

Yoo Yeonseo's manager, Lee Taegyeom, tried calling her, but all he heard was the long tone indicating the call couldn't be connected.

("The person you have called cannot...")

"Is his phone turned off?"

The staff murmured in concern.

"What's going on?"

After that, Yoo Yeonseo tossed and turned in his bed at home for two days.

"Home is the best after all."

Although his phone rang intermittently, he ignored all calls except those from Im Seunghyun or Lee Taegyeom.

But he had to start answering calls at some point, right?

"Oh, it's you, Mr. Han. What's up?"

("What's up? What's up? Don't you know what's up?")

"Well, I have an idea. I've planned everything."

(What plan? What's on your mind? And why isn't Taegyeom picking up?!)

Taegyeom was becoming quite the obedient slave. Maybe he was scared not to answer his calls because of the CEO and manager's inquiries, but... Yoo Yeonseo smiled satisfactorily. The CEO listening in felt like he was about to explode.

(Why the smirk!)

"Oh, I've planned everything?"

Frustrated with Yeonseo's consistent ignorance, Mr. Han almost shouted but restrained himself. After taking a deep breath, he calmly decided to persuade Yeonseo.

(Yeonseo... even if you have a bit of a temper, you've always kept a professional attitude. Does it make sense for you to suddenly disappear from shooting?)

"What's wrong with my temper, Mr. Han? Am I a bit upset?"

(Oh come on! Stop beating around the bush!)

Eventually, Mr. Han burst out.

"Just stay put, Yeonseo. I'll handle everything. It's my money paying the crew anyway, even if the shooting gets delayed."
