"You know what? How dare you save Caroline over us? If you had just taken us, Aurora wouldn't be like this!"

"I only had time to save one," Klaus retorted, his voice cold but strained. "You two are practically indestructible. Trust me, my day has been worse than yours maybe not Aurora's but certainly worse than yours. It's time we move on. Heal Aurora, and then we'll find some more werewolves." He picked up his blood bags, carefully placing them back into the briefcase. Rebekah's tears streamed down her face, her heartbreak visibly deepening.

"So what, Klaus?" Rebekah spat. "You'll just create your hybrid family and forget us? You don't know anything about family!"

Klaus's eyes narrowed dangerously. "I know how easily family can be silenced with a dagger"

Rebekah's anger boiled over. She grabbed one of the blood bags and hurled it at the wall. It burst, splattering blood everywhere.

"No!" Klaus shouted, reaching too late to catch it. He turned back to see his sister holding up two more blood bags, defiance burning in her eyes.

"Drop them," he warned, his voice low and menacing.

Tears choked Rebekah's voice. "I mourned you! My heart shattered, thinking I'd never see you again!"

"Put the blood down, Rebekah, Theres a good girl." Klaus commanded.

"It's always been me and Aurora," Rebekah said, her voice breaking. "Not Kol, not Finn, not even Elijah. Just us. We loved you through everything, and you never even cared."

"Drop it!" Klaus roared.

"You want your precious family?" Rebekah squeezed the bags, causing them to burst in a bloody explosion. "Here's your family!"

Meanwhile, in another room, Bonnie was frantically working to save Aurora. She spotted something odd, a small lump under Aurora's skin. As she examined it, realisation dawned—this was the chip that had been blocking Aurora's magic. Without hesitation, she grabbed a scalpel and began cutting into Aurora's arm. Blood poured out, far more than she expected, but she kept going, determined. Finally, Bonnie pulled out the chip, burning her fingers as she dropped it.

"Ah!" she yelped, but almost immediately, Aurora began to heal. Bonnie sighed, exhaustion washing over her as she rested her head on Aurora's arm.

Aurora's POV

Waking up, I saw Bonnie slumped beside me. I felt, human. Well, not quite, but something close to it. Healing. The flames and the agony of being burned still haunted me, but my powers were returning. I glanced at my arms; most of the burns had healed. Slowly, I sat up.

"Hey, take it easy, Rory," Bonnie said, her voice soft but firm. She placed a steadying hand on my arm.

"Did you heal me?" I asked, tilting my head. She nodded, and I pulled her into a hug, burying my face in her shoulder. "Thank you, Bon Bon."

Suddenly, Klaus's voice roared from another room. Concerned, I vamped over to the doorway, unnoticed. Rebekah and Klaus were in the middle of a heated argument, and then I saw it Klaus's hand around Rebekah's throat. Fury erupted in me. I sped forward, ripping him away from her.

"Get off her!" I shouted. Klaus vamped toward me, but he froze, his eyes widening when he realized I was fully healed. Rebekah stepped between us.

"Aurora, pack your things," she said urgently.

"What? Why?" I asked, confused.

"We're leaving," she insisted, grabbing my hand. "Nicklaus wants his own family, so let him have it."

I shook my head. "But I don't want to leave him," I whispered, my voice breaking.

Rebekah's expression hardened. "He doesn't care about us! He saved Caroline, not us. Look what happened to you! You almost died!"

Tears welled in my eyes. "No, I told him to take Caroline. I didn't want her to get hurt. That was my decision, not his. I can't blame him for that." Rebekah's gaze softened, but her resolve remained.

"It's not your fault, Aurora. Never think that. But we still have to go. Even if you don't blame him, he's made his choice."

Klaus's voice rang out behind me. "No, she stays here. We can't risk another incident like yesterday."

Rebekah faced him, defiant. "She'll be safe with me."

"I left her with you, and she was nearly burned alive!" Klaus snarled.

Rebekah's anger flared. "Maybe if you had taken us instead of Caroline, none of this would have happened!"

Klaus's voice was steel. "No. She stays here. My hybrids will protect her."

I finally spoke up, spinning around to face them both. "I'm not going to be watched like a prisoner because of one mistake."

Rebekah stormed into my room, throwing open the wardrobe with a determined glare. She grabbed an armful of my clothes and stuffed them into a suitcase. "We're leaving," she declared, barely sparing me a glance. "I'm not letting you stay trapped in this madhouse any longer."

I stood there, feeling exasperated but too worn out to argue. "Rebekah-"

Before I could finish, Klaus appeared in the doorway, his eyes blazing. "Rebekah, put that down," he demanded, striding into the room. "Aurora isn't going anywhere with you."

Rebekah spun around, clutching the suitcase like a shield. "Don't you dare try to stop me, Klaus. She nearly died yesterday because of your choices! I won't stand by and watch you put her at risk again."

Klaus crossed the room in a flash, grabbing my arm and pulling me away from Rebekah. "I'm not letting you take her," he said, his voice dangerously low. "Aurora is safest with me. You can't just tear her away because you're angry."

Rebekah's grip on the suitcase tightened, and she stepped forward, fury etched across her face. "Safest with you?" she scoffed. "Don't make me laugh. Your enemies are everywhere, and staying here makes her a constant target. If you really cared, you'd let her go."

Klaus tightened his hold on my arm, but not enough to hurt. "I'm not abandoning her to whatever dangers lurk outside," he insisted. "My hybrids are here. My resources are here. She stays."

Rebekah wasn't having it. She grabbed my other arm, pulling me back toward her. "No, Klaus. Your 'protection' nearly got her killed! You think keeping her close is enough, but it's your presence that puts her in danger. I'm taking her away from all of this."

The tug-of-war between them intensified, and I could feel their determination battling it out over me. Klaus pulled me back a step, his voice rising. "You're not taking her anywhere, Rebekah. I won't allow it."

Rebekah yanked me back toward her, her voice cracking with desperation. "I won't let you control her, Klaus! She deserves a chance at a normal life, away from your chaos."

"Both of you stop it! Your being ridiculous! Im not staying with either of you!"

"Then where will you go?"

"I'll go to Ash's place the council don't know he's a vampire they wont search for me there" Klaus shook his head.

"Right that little boyfriend i heard about. No way in hell"

"Why not?!"

"You will be in danger there Aurora! You will stay here until the council is gone."
