○●○●○●○You coughed extremely hard. The blood wouldn't start pouring out. You ran out of your room, making your way towards the first aid room. The nurse immediately laid you down on the bed.
She eased your coughing and urged you to start speaking again.
"Nurse", you started panting, "am I gonna be ok? What's wrong with me?"
She had her hand over your heart, her eyes closed, focusing on your pulse.
"Miss y/n, I don't know. I may need to do a scan. I'm sorry", she said sorrowfully. You just closed your eyes, placing a hand over them, trying to prevent the tears from flowing out. You let out a small "yeah it's ok".
Around an hour later, the nurse walked back to you and shook her head sadly.
"Miss y/n I have bad news... I really don't know how to break it to you."
"Take your time... I'm ready if that helps."
"Miss y/n.. you have stomach cancer. ", she got it over with for herself by being direct. Ok, obviously she had to reveal it at some point but straight to your face? Just like that.
You weren't even able to say anything, just silently sitting there trying to process everything. "I... I have what? Sto...stomach cancer?", you let out a laugh in disbelief.
"This is some sort of sick joke right?", you said, still laughing, hoping it was a joke. The nurse shook her head. "No Miss y/n... It's real.".
You just sat in silence. After a few moments, you spoke up.
"Well... How bad is it? What stage?", you asked, scared to hear anything bad.
"Luckily, you came at the right time. It's the perfect time to be treated, with a seventy percent chance of survival during the surgery required to remove it. I suggest you look for a good hospital, and book an appointment for the surgery as soon as possible. You know what, in fact, I myself will handle the booking. I'll inform you when I get a good timing. Hospitals will probably be rushing to help you because you're the beloved daughter of (father name)".
"Ah... Thanks for helping. It's a relief to know I'll be able to recover. I'm still scared for the surgery though."
"That's completely normal Miss y/n. I'll inform miss anri about your situation. She won't give you too much work once she finds out don't worry too much about it. I'll give you some time to yourself now, why don't you tell your loved ones? Perhaps, mr (father name)?"
"Ah yeah... Gotta tell my family yknow? Thanks for letting me have my privacy. And thank you so much for your help."
"No problem", the nurse said as she walked out of the room.
You wanted to call Addy first. Obviously. She was literally the reason your life had a meaning. Luckily, Addy picked up the phone.
"Hey... Addy... What's up?", you asked slowly, trying to start the conversation well.
"Hey n/n! I'm good. You actually haven't even called me once. Are you really that busy?"
"I'm pretty busy. I get very little time so I spend it for myself... Sorry for not calling Addy. I still care about you you know that right?"
"I know y/n, I was messing with you. I'd never seriously in my right mind ever doubt you. Also, why do you sound tired? Let me check the time in Japan. One seeeec... HOLY SHIT Y/N THATS SUPER LATE GO BACK TO SLEEP."
"Addy it's important. Forget the damn time won't you?"
"Wait... What happened? Y/n...", she asked worriedly.
