Seeing kaiser in Japan was not on your year's bucket list but it was a good addition. Just thinking about kaiser living in Japan, within blue lock, getting to see him everyday, was like you were living in your dreams.

You spent that day just fine with aeri and kayori. They were happy that you were alright, and so were you. You finally returned to blue lock grounds, ready to resume your work. You took a deep breath and stepped inside. Anri saw you and ran over to you, holding your shoulders, looking you up and down. "Aaahh you're ok!!", she said. You laughed a little and nodded. "It was detected extremely early so it was easy to get rid of. I'm really grateful. You should give that nurse a raise honestly. I'd be suffering now if it weren't for her". Anri nodded and said, "i actually did gave her a raise. She's earning a lot more now. I would give her so much more but we are already working on a tight budget, and we have something big planned for the forwards here.", she said excitedly.

You shot a curious glance at her, wanting to know more. She smiled. "Y/n, the person who's paying for blue lock isn't exactly sure whether he should continue because of how much money our facility requires. So to check if we're worth or not, he's planning a match between blue lock and u-20 Japan. So we really need to up our game here. So far ego and I have four people who we definitely want to play against the u-20. Rin itoshi, isagi yoichi, Bachira meguru, and Nagi seishiro.".

Your eyes lit up, happy that Bachira and isagi were gonna go against the u-20. You nodded. Coming to the topic, you just had to ask something.

"Say anri, umm I know isagi and Bachira and they're really good. You even said they are good enough to play against japanese u-20. So why are they one of the lowest ranked players?", you asked.

"Ah I see. I thought I informed you of this system actually. They aren't low ranked at all. We simply seperated all three hundred players into five different buildings and told them all that they were lowly ranked and that there were people who were better than them in the other buildings. We're fooling everyone, so they don't overestimate themselves and work hard. If we were to be honest... I'd definitely say isagi and Bachira are both eligible to be in the top 20s atleast. Atleast that's what I feel. In the end it's all up to ego."

"Ooooh so that's whats happening. I have to admit though, it's a pretty smart system to keep them up and running. I still have two more questions."

"Mhm sure go ahead."

"Anri, did you say rin itoshi? Because if you did, then he shares the same last name as the sae itoshi."

"Oh yes, they're actually brothers. Rin being the younger one, sae being the older one."

"Oh wow. Damn. And for my last question. I met someone who knew something about what you're planning for the third selection. I heard you're inviting European leagues to come join blue lock... Is it real?". The answer to this question is what you were anticipating most.

Anri seemed a little hesitant, and a little suspicious about how you knew that plan.

"Who told you that y/n? That's plain nonsense.", she said, desperately trying to brush off the topic.

"Anri do you seriously think I'm gonna tell anyone? I can keep a secret. And as to who told me that... That's a surprise that you'll get only if you stop avoiding the question.", you smirked.

"Fine yes I was planning that. They're actually accepting the offers so don't laugh at me. Now tell me who told you that. I haven't told a single soul about this idea except ego and I'm absolutely sure ego wouldn't tell you anything."

"Hmmm... Michael kaiser told me.", you said ever so casually. Anri's eyes widened, giving you an 'excuse me?' kind of look.

"Wh-what do you mean 'michael kaiser told me', do you realise how silly you sound? That makes no sense.", she said, in denial.

"Oh but I swear he told me. We know each other personally so when he found out I'd be working here, he told me.", that was a partial lie, but what happened, happened.

Anri was stunned. "How do you have so many connections with football players?", she asked.

"Uuuh you know my dad right? His brother is the manager of the Spanish club. So football players recognise me through him". Your uncle wasn't really a good topic, but atleast he was better than your father right? Anri slowly nodded, as if comprehending the kind of privileged family you came from.

Today, you had to supervise another building. Apparently the one the itoshi brother was in. You were pretty excited for it. The itoshis had insane underlashes and talent.

As you entered the building, you walked into the cafeteria there to just take a look at all the players and see if you could recognise any from when you studied the files. You saw a boy with dark green hair, green eyes and a dead look on his face. Wait a second.

Green eyes and insane underlashes? He must be an itoshi.

You walked up to the table he sat at, attempting to make conversation with him. You sat opposite to him and cleared your throat. "Hi! I'm y/n! What's your name?", you asked merrily, not knowing anything about the emo creature sitting in front of you. He just looked up from his food, stared at you, and silently judged you. You felt really insecure under his stare. Like nothing about you was good. "Uuuh, ok I get the message", you said, ready to leave, before he abruptly started speaking. "Im rin. I'm ranked as the highest here, but not the highest out of the three hundred in the whole of blue lock apparently. So my whole purpose in life is to make it out of here and crush that lukewarm insect.", he said coldly.

"By 'lukewarm insect',  do you mean sae itoshi orrr?", you asked like an innocent child.

"Yeah. Him. That bitch.", he said.

"Isn't he your brother? Why do you hate him this much. It's unnatural", you commented.

"I just do."

"Uh huh. Yeah I'm gonna go. Bye.", you said as you quickly, yet clumsily, got up and left the cafeteria. That dude was horrid. What kind of trauma must sae itoshi have induced on the poor kid to make him be like that?

This whole thing was gonna be hell if the itoshis were around wasn't it?

You opened your phone to see you had three missed calls from kaiser.

You called him now, and he picked up.

"Well motherfucker if you of all people are giving me a call it must be important. Spit it out", you said in a snarky way.

"Uh your dad.", he said.

"My dad what? Did he actually finally die in an accident now?", you asked.

"There's this leaked video about him and a famous actress um.. making out. This famous actress actually being my mother."

"EXCUSE ME WHAT!?", you screamed. Loud enough for everyone back in the cafeteria to hear you actually. Oh boy.
