Kaiser looked at the entrance of the hotel and sighed. There was no way he could check you in. He didn't want to be seen with you in public either.

"Hey ness."

Ness abruptly turned his head to look at kaiser. "Yeah?"

"Change of plans. Take her to the hotel we're staying at."

Ness' expression darkened at kaiser's words.

"And where will she sleep. Both our rooms have only one bed."

"She'll sleep on the floor. I'll order a matress for her. Or I'll sleep on the floor. It's none of your business."

"Right.. but you probably don't wanna be seen with her.", ness replied, hoping to somehow turn this situation around.

"I'm gonna make you pull her."

Ness turned back to the steering wheel and bit his lower lip in frustration and jealousy. He hated you already despite not even knowing who you were.

Ness parked the car outside their hotel and carried you into the hotel, which earned him a few stares but he had no choice but to obey kaiser. Kaiser seemed very nonchalant about the whole thing, pretending he didn't even know who you were, as if your existence didn't matter.

Once inside kaiser's room, ness lay you down on the bed, and walked out of the room without saying a word, making his way to his own room after ordering a mattress to kaiser's room.

Once the mattress arrived kaiser lay down on it, not bothering to carry you.

You slept rather peacefully. You were at comfort. Well of course you were, your back  spinal cord was not the one pressed against a mattress that felt like wood.

In the morning your eyes opened slowly, taking in your surroundings. You took a few seconds to realise that you were in an unfamiliar setting.

You eventually sat up, leaning against the headboard, and noticed an empty mattress on the floor beside the bed. "Huh..?", you muttered, your voice still groggy.

Kaiser walked out of the bathroom, expressionless, rubbing a towel over his head, wearing a bathrobe.

You just blinked, not even knowing what to say. "Where am I?"

"Take a guess sherlock", he said snarkily.

"Why am I in your room?"

"You fucking fell asleep and I couldn't check you into your hotel so i brought you here."

"How did you know which hotel I was supposed to stay at."

"The adress was on your phone. Your phone was still on so I took it."

"Oh.. I have zero memory of anything right now.. but i gotta go."

"Where?"

"Uh.. blue lock."

"Don't worry. Blue lock is closed right now. It only opens again in two weeks."

'did I know that before? Did it slip my mind.' shit. How do I get out of a concersation with him. Why is he of all people insistent on having me stay?', your thought to yourself.

"Ah.. anri must have told you because you're joining soon, I just remember it was announced. I actually have to study for college so.. bye.", you said standing up to go to the bathroom to get ready.

Kaiser just shrugged after that and scrolled through his phone, sitting on the couch.

'whats up with this guy..? Nevermind I'm not supposed to care anymore.', you thought to yourself in the bathroom. You observed the state you were in for a few seconds and realised that kaiser had seen you like that. Your hair was all over the place, and your eyebags were unnecessarily prominent. Your makeup was smudged as well. You cupped your face, rubbing your palms down your face slowly, your mouth gaping in disbelief. You'd never ever looked so bad waking up so why today if all days?
