Blue lock resumed. Your two week break of misery and bliss combined was over. It was time to get back to work. Kaiser and his team were coming to blue lock now. So was the Spanish u-20 so you really hoped your manwhore sae itoshi was going to he there but unfortunately he was not.

You were sitting with isagi in the cafeteria and noticed he was a little nervous.

"Hey what's wrong..?", you asked him softly.

"I just dont know which team to choose. I'm going back and forth."

That was right. Ego just announced that they were to select a team. This was indeed an important decision.

"I hope you're not gonna choose a team for your friends..", you joked. He scoffed.

"Of course not. But more than friends.. my chemistry with the players matters the most."

"You should go for bastard munchen. I have a feeling you and kaiser would get along crazy well.", you stated, rather enthusiastically.

"Ah about that.. that guy is kind of a bitch."

"Yeah he can be an arse at times but- huh wait what? What did he do to you?", you questioned, confused. Had they already met each other?

"It was sort of like.. a little trial with them when I came back. Does he have a praise kink? Does he have a superiority complex?", isagi asked, actually sounding genuinely concerned.

You almost spat out the water in your mouth at how ridiculous that sounded.

"He does come off like that at first but once you get to know him he's actually a pretty cool guy to be around.". Wait shit no. That's not how things were supposed to be going. Why were you defending him? Why did you care?

'Why do I love him?', you thought to yourself. You were putting your dignity on the line by trying to make isagi believe kaiser is a good person. This felt utterly ridiculous.

There was a comfortable silence.between you and isagi for a few minutes, presumably because he didnt know what to say to your defensiveness.

You noticed kaiser walk down the cafeteria, seemingly disinterested in whatever ness was yapping about to him. Ness was the first to notice you and he gave you a dirty look.

'What the fuck did I do I'm gonna beat this bitch up.', your thought to yourself, clenching your fists tightly beneath the table. Kaiser turned to see what ness was looking at and noticed you. Without Ness looking he smirked at you and grabbed Ness' head. He forced him to turn around and continue walking. That was the end of the interaction.

You turned around to look at an isagi with a raised eyebrow.

"Did you guys fuck in that trip to Europe?", he asked casually.

"EXCUSE YOU!? NOT SO LOUD.", you punctuated. He chuckled and gave that cheesy smile.

"So I can take it as a yes?"

Truth be told.. a lot of weird stuff probably happened on the plane after..

After you had 1... 2... No... 7... Wait no.... 11 glasses of alcohol. Kaiser didn't wanna tell you and now everytime you saw him he would just smirk at you.

Maybe having alcohol after all the conversations about crushes was a bad idea? Why did the flight attendants even allow you to have alcohol in the first place.

"..i actually don't know. But not we did not fuck I can tell you that much."

"You sound unsure.", he stated bluntly.
