Those were the only words ringing in your head. No one would think being so utterly in love was possible, that no matter what kept you occupied the only thing you could think about was a guy. And in their eyes, not just a guy, a selfish bastard.

You wanted to feel that kiss again. It gave you life, or rather, made you experience a new kind of life for its duration, that you never wanted to end. It was so blissful. The corridors seemed to brighten up, and it was cruel honestly, that they felt the most welcoming when you were leaving. You made your way to where Anri was.

"Y/n!!! I'm so sad we haven't even been able to talk for so long things have just been so busy haven't they? Our players have improved a lot!", she was practically squealing. Of course she was happy. Her dream is blue lock. She would obviously be happy, as anyone naturally would, if their dream was slowly becoming a success. Especially with a reality show and all. You felt happy for her, you really did, but being so lonely made smiling feel weird and uncomfortable on your face. You smiled at her anyway.

It was wrong. Your cheeks felt uncomfortable, as if they were being stretched for the first time. Your lips felt like they were cracking. Did you look like you were struggling to just smile on the outside?

"Yeah things have been taking off haven't they? I'm happy for Japan. We finally have a chance at this world cup. But I'm more happy for you, considering the fact that this is your dream and all." , you told her, being as kind as possible. Jealousy crept up your shoulders, seeing people so happy, when you couldn't be. Your eyes trailed away from Anri for a second, and noticed Kaiser leaving with Ness, carrying their bags.
