Sometimes, you had gotten a little nervous about this match in the past. You spent endless effort on trying to help them improve, so you felt a certain amount of responsibility in the way they would potentially play. Anri would occasionally offer you words of comfort, trying to convince you that you really didn't have to worry, and that the way they would play out there was completely up to them because of their own egos.

You were supposed to sit and watch the match alongside anri and ego, and the substitute players, but you talked to ego, and went to sit next to bachira's mother. Bachira's mother was absolutely delighted to see you again after such a long time, and complimented your growth, beauty and personality. You chuckled awkwardly, trying to casually brush off the millions of praises she was showering you with. 'what a sweetheart..', you thought to yourself.

You saw isagi's parents come and settle down in front of you two and your eyes widened a little. You were planning on introducing them to each other later.

Nothing could describe how invested you were in the match taking place in front of you. It was quite obvious that sae itoshi, the debut player, was not putting in any effort right now, but the fact that he was able to play so well despite that said a lot. He really was as great as everyone says he is if not even greater. You didn't really care what the outcome of the match was going to be because you knew that no matter what these blue lock kids would sniff out success no matter what obstacles were in the way.

After getting repeated texts from kaiser, you decided to check your phone.
