Rivaah's POV

"Damn, he's hot." Ved whistled lowly, "Like way hotter than the pictures in your phone."  She smirked at me, my eyes widened in horror.

Wait, when did she see them?

"Where did you get my password fro-" I stopped mid sentence when she wiggled her brows at me.

Ofcourse, She knew it.

"The better question would be, why do you have those pictures?" She was definitely teasing me now.

How do I answer that!? When I don't know myself?

"It's nothing, I just felt like it."

"So you can look at him whenever you wanted?" She gave me a teasing smile, her eyes giving me a suggestive wink.

Why is she like this?

"Can you shut up? There's nothing like that between us." I glanced at Kartik who was placing the order for us, and even in this tired state, he managed to look decent in his red kurta. "And there can never be."

Never.

"Ah...is that why you didn't introduce us yet?"

Shit, I'd totally forgotten about that. But in my defence, I had swore off taking to Kartik. I wasn't, andI mean it, going to talk to him untill my life depended on it.

"I'm not talking to him." I folded my hands, looking away for effect.

"Attitude..huh??" She said, mimicking Poo's voice from K3G, "I like it."

I chuckled at her antics, she was just too awesome. That's why she's my best friend. She elbowed me from side, as an indication that Kartik was walking our way and I quick controlled my expressions, plastering that straight face all again.

"Here." A bottle of water came invaded my line of vision, and I didn't react for a brief moment untill I finally noded my head in a 'no'.

"It's just water. Take it."

No reaction.

"Weren't you thirsty just five minutes ago?"

I still am.

But I still ignored him. I could see he was getting frustrated from my peripheral vision. I did a happy dance from inside at the thought.

Yes, rot in hell you rude cockroach. You deserve it.

"I'll take it." Vivaan interrupted, and couldn't thank him more for it.

I was one second away from throwing that water at him.

Kartik gave him a cold glare, before retrieving the bottle of water back. He opened the lid with his mouth at once, emptying it in less than a minute. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down with every gulp, making it way more attractive than it was supposed to be.

"On second thoughts, I was thirsty too." Kartik said after he was finished with the bottle, handing the empty bottle to Vivaan and walking towards the table.

I know what's coming.

Vedika grabbed my shoulders with a vigour, almost yanking me towards her. She had an awestruck expression on her face, and I could practically see the hearts in her eyes when she said, "That was HOT."

I know.

"Not at all." Such a liar.

"Now it doesn't matter what you say, I saw what I needed to. " She leaned closer to my ear, before whispering, " Aag dono taraf barabar lagi hai." Wink.
