*Levine’s POV*
It was the Hogsmeade weekend, and I felt really happy. I mean, we hadn’t been to Hogsmeade for ages and I really wanted to go. I needed to buy Christmas presents too, for my friends. I was excited, dressing up in a pair of black jeans and fluffy boots and slipping on my blue coat, pocketing my wand and money. I run downstairs and plop down on one of the couches, waiting for the clock to strike 9 before I leave to go and meet Hermione. I read through the History of Hogwarts again, watching the time go by. Suddenly Draco walks down the stairs, Pansy in his lead.
‘’Oh hey Draco’’ I say, closing the book. He smiles at me.
''Morning Levine'' he says, as Parkinson scowls.
''What you talking to her for?'' she says, frowning. Draco raises an eyebrow.
''She's my friend..?'' he says, sharply. Pansy sniggers.
''Yeah right, last time I saw you guys, you were at each others throats'' she says. I roll my eyes.
''Well, we're friends now'' he says. I nod. She shrugs, a bitter expression on her face.
''Family love, I guess, well, I don't know what's wrong with you'' says Pansy, smirking. Draco gapes. I stand up, clenching my fist.
''Excuse me?'' I say, coldly. She smiles.
''Well, your a bitch'' she says, like it's the most truest thing in the world. I snort.
''Just leave me alone, Pugsy'' I say. She gasps.
''Bitch'' she spits and stalks out of the door. I stare at Malfoy.
''So?'' I snap. He lifts his hands up.
''Whoa, don't get all snappy at me, I'm on your side'' he says.
''Are you still going with her?'' I say, through gritted teeth. He reluctantly nods.
''Whatever, go then, or she'll be angry'' I say, sighing. Her scurries away. God he is a such a brat sometimes.
''You know what? Screw you, just screw you Malfoy, and your stupid pug-faced Pansy-Wansy too’’ I shout into nothing, grabbing my bag and storming out of the common room, leaving them speechless. Great, they spoiled my mood. I sit outside by the Potions classroom and wait for Hermione, staring at the flakes of snow that are flying down to the already white ground. She runs up to me at about 10 to 9, wearing jeans, boots and a maroon jacket.
‘’Aw man’’ she says, sighing. I look up.
‘’Is it that obvious I’m in a mood?’’ I say, standing up. She nods, sadly.
‘’It was that stupid Parkinson’’ I say, stuffing my hands into my pockets. Hermione frowns.
‘’It’s okay, you’ll feel better’’ she says, smiling. I shrug and we jog up to the courtyard where a bunch of others are standing. Fred (he’s wearing a jumper with the letter ‘’F’’ on it) waves us over. We walk over to them. Harry and Ron are waiting too, arguing over something. There’s also a Ravenclaw, Cho Chang I think, she’s standing near them. According to Hermione, Harry and her are dating. I haven't talked to them for ages...Well, not since they finished DA lessons for Christmas. I've been busy studying for O.W.L's and crap like that. Last thing we learned was how to do a sucessful Stunning charm. I managed to do it perfectly within the first 20 minutes because I have had plenty of practise with it. I look over to Ron and Harry arguing over something.
‘’ So, it’s almost Christmas and we need presents’’ says Hermione, stopping the heated argument between Harry and Ron. They nod. I snort.
