Chapter 8: Training Obsesion

Sensei Wu's P.O.V. (Couldn't resist XD)

I went to look for Paty morning at 6:30 a.m. to begin her training. But she wasn't there. But I heard something in the training curse.

— Good morning Sensei —Paty said.

— How long you've been here? I asked.

—Not much, like 30 minutes. Plus the time it took me other 30 minutes to dress up, eating an apple, and finding this. Thanks god the guys...

— Ninjas

— ...The ninjas snore, otherwise I would get into their room.

I chuckle with the idea, she is really respectful with the guys. And I can imagine her face if she get into their room while they're sleeping...

— What did you do all this time by yourself?

— Meditation, to kill time, after analyzing the training course.

— I'm impressed —I compliment.

— Thanks Sensei —she smiled.

— Let's begin. First, you'll have to finish the curse before I finish my cup of tea.

She nod. But she fall 3 times before I finish.

— You've failed today.

— Yes Sensei, but... can I keep training?

— Sure

"I didn't expected that reaction..."

3 hours later

— Good morning Sensei —my ninjas said.

— Good morning ninjas.

— Good morning —Nya said.

— Hello sis —Kai said.

— Zai! —Cole and Zane smiled.

— Hey everybody —she said.

— Good morning —my brother and Misako said.

— P.I.X.A.L. —Zane smiled.

— Zai? —P.I.X.A.L. asked.

— Good to see ya Pixy-pix —Zai said. (Awful nickname, I know, but I like it)

— Hey! Where's Paty? —Jay asked.

They heard a girly grunting: Paty.

— How long she's been training? —Cole asked.

— 3 hours —I said— nonstop.

— Well we have to see her, everyone needs to rest —Cole said.

There she was training, trying to complete the curse, she was like a 75% of it completed.

—Hey Paty! —Kai greeted.

— Wha..?! AAAH! —she scream.

She got distracted, and a dummy hit her head. Which throw her to the planks, which throw her to the spike ball. Making her smash against a wall. She got a rough fall.

— Are you okay? —Cole asked.

— How many finger you see? —Kai asked showing her 2 fingers.

— Six —she answered with a face similar to Lloyd's when Sensei Garmadon beat him (ep 28).

— You'll be fine... Hey, you were doing well —Kai said helping her to stand up— you know, when I train, once I saw 8 fingers.

— Thanks —Paty smiled.

— Wanna eat? —Cole asked.

— No thanks, I'll keep training —she said.

— Alright then —Lloyd said.

Jay's P.O.V.
One week later

We barely see Paty, she's always training AT LEAST 8 hours daily. But now we always hear good music of the training curse.

— Guys! I did it I finish the curse, and before Sensei finish his tea! —she rushed in cheering and jumping.

— Great, I knew you could —Cole smiled.

— Great little girl —Kai messed her hair— you were inspired don't you, by your grandpa?

— Thanks, and yes but I must confess that my grandfather wasn't my inspiration, but

— But, who? —I asked.

— Y-you 5 —she smiled.

— Aww —Kai teased. Paty messed his hair.

— And you already did Spinjitzu? —Zane asked.

— Spin...jitzu? —she asked.

— Wait! Sensei didn't tell you? —Lloyd asked.

— Not yet —Sensei Wu walked in.

— Why not Sensei? —Paty asked.

— You'll learn it in the right moment —Sensei Wu said.

— Yes Sensei —Paty nod, she look concerned— E-excuse me, I gotta go to train —she said.

A few minutes later Zai came in.

— What's did you tell her?

— Huh? —we asked.

— I saw Paty sobbing in the corner of her room.

— What? How? —I asked.

— She is super sensitive, what did you tell her?!

— Nothing —Kai said.

— She is like a sister for me, what make her cry? —Zai said, definitely mad.

— Well, she look sad when Sensei told her she wasn't ready for Spinjitzu... —Cole explain.

— Oh no.

— What? —Lloyd asked.

— She is scared of failing, she is scared of letting her friends down, but I just saw her crying because of it once. You might be important for her... —Zai explained.

— We must do something —Lloyd said.

We went to her room. Effectively, Paty was crying in her room. I feel brokenhearted at the sight.

— Hey was wrong? —Cole asked.

— Me —she answer.

— Why? —Kai asked.

— What if I can't do Spinjitzu?

— You will, just have to, go with the flow —I said.

— And he was the first to learn Spinjitzu... —Kai smiled.

— But I know that in the moment I need it the most, I'll end up falling on my face, not just humiliating myself, but also letting you down.

— Hey! It's normal to be scared, but it depends on you to face it —Lloyd said.

— That's the problem, I'm a coward.

— Then choose a different path —Zane smiled.

— I'm not sure if I'm able to —she said.

— AWW you really think that? —Paty said, with a sparkle on her eyes. The guys were laughing silently.

"Oh man! I said that out loud Gosh No!!!!" I now make sure I was THINKING it.

— Well, in that case I won't give up. Thanks guys! —said.

And give us a kiss in the cheek, before rushing to the training curse...

— Jay, Jay, Jay, JAY! —Cole shout.

— What?! —I asked.

— Are you blushing? —Kai chuckled. And I turn even redder.
