Chapter 53: The Voice in my Head

Lloyd's P.O.V.

We are getting closer to the Dark Island. But I fear Paty isn't ready. She seem sick, dizzy and tired. Speaking of which of her, she walked in the room stumbling. Zane reacted first and catch her before she fell on the floor. He help her on a chair and placed a hand on her forehead.

— Wow. You are really hot —Zane said worried.

—Hey! What does that mean?! —Jay asked, a hint of jealously on his voice.

— I mean she have fever Jay —Zane said. Zai let out a few giggles.

— What's on her cheek? —Robyn asked.

It seem to be a scar, but it was a dark purple, and it had shorts purple little lines running on her cheek, like, through her veins. A shade of purple that reminded me of the Overlord's skin. That's it.

— It's the mark of the sword of the Dark Knight! —I said.

— You think both are related? —Kai asked.

— Most likely —Skylor said.

— Lloyd is right, the mark of the sword is trying to corrupt her blood, altering her genetic code —P.I.X.A.L. said— It seems that it isn't lethal, but it might cause fatal alterations.

— Like what? —Morro asked.

— Like becoming a monster, fully under the darkness control —Misako said.

— WHAT?!—they all gasped. Paty coughed.

— I think that considering her element this like an extra effect on her—Sensei Garmadon said.

— What do you mean?—Ronin asked.

— Her elements are pure powers, since the transformation isn't voluntary, it hurst her bad —Sensei Wu said.

— Is one of us a dark element? —Zai asked.

— I think no, it doesn't depend on which element you are. A dark element is created when they alterate an element to serve darkness —Sensei Garmadon said.

— Like a wizard changing their light magic, to dark magic? —Erika asked.

— Whohohoa, what does that mean? Light magic? Dark magic? And how doesn E know so much about magic? —Jay asked.

— Every creature of magic is born as a light magic creature, but some of them, change to black magic to serve darkness (Clouse *cough*) —Zai said.

— And like 2 months ago I was playing with Paty's Spell Book, and I tried to make a spell, and it actually worked... —Erika said.

—  WAIT! My girlfriend is a witch too?! COOL! —I said kissing my sweet E.

— Destiny bequeathed me a  big power, the Overlord wants it, and I won't let him... —Paty said with a weird voice.

— Even you know what does bequeath mean? C'mon! —Jay whines.

— Just becuase I'm a native spanish speaker doesn't mean that me english suck —she said with her weird voice.

— What happened to your voice? —Erika asked— Is that another effect? You sound like if you had a cold.

— I feel like I have a cold—Paty said.

— Well then you must take a shower, and then get some sleep my tiny. Meanwhile I'll get you some medicine, I think I saw some pain-killers in the reserves —Cole said.

— Yes... Hey, I missed that you called me that —she smiled and left.

Paty got on her pink pijamas. Jay was pretty distracted with her looks, a dark blue short and a bright pink shirt. And wow... Erika had green shorts and a dark purple shirt, she looks... amazing... I have the best girlfriend ever. Zai had black shorts and a gray shirt. P.I.X.A.L. had a gray shorts and a light purple shirt. Nya had black shorts and a red shirt. Skylor had a black shorts and a light orange shirt, and Robyn had brown shorts and a pale copper shirt.
