Chapter 42: Goodbye

Lloyd's P.O.V.

It's been one month since the incident with the black eye. Now her eye is back on full health. But she began acting strange. She spends a lot of time on the meditation room. Doesn't matter if she needs to, Sensei ask her to, or any other circumstance. And when she comes out, her forehead is sweaty. Then she talks to Sensei Wu and my dad for almost an hour. And then she begans again. That everyday...

Morro, Kai, Skylor, Jay, Nya, Zane, P.I.X.A.L., Cole, Zai, Erika and I were spying on her. Until we got bored and we went to our room (boy's room) to talk. Maybe we can make up a theory of what is happening...

- What's up with her?-Kai asked.

- I possessed her, but it was like her mind had a barrier, like it just spitted me out-Morro said.

- Her power are... more powerful than her... it's hard for her to control them-Zai said.

- That's why things surrounding her float when she sings... So now she rarely sings...-P.I.X.A.L. said.

- I know-Jay said sad, Zane had the same expression. They like hear her singing.

- But her meditating sessions, always had music and where shorter than mine-Zane said.

- Zane is right, this is something else-Cole said.

- I miss the old Paty...-we all said.

- We need to find out, what is happening. It seems to be important if she comments it with both Senseis...-Skylor pointed out.

- Yeah... Wait! That's it!-I said- She talked with my dad, and uncle Wu, they can tell us!

- Sweet! Nice one Lloyd!-Erika said.

- Hehe... piece of cake-I said nervously.

- Never say that again, unless there is cake-Cole said playfully.

- Dad! Dad!-I called when I saw him and uncle Wu, talking.

- What is it son?-he asked.

- We want to know... What Paty talks you both about-I said.

The exchange consterned looks. Not really sure of how to answer to my question. Or probably just looking to a hard way too say it, so it can take us the whole day to decipher it. Or that's why I thought.

- Her visions have become constant. All of them reveal chaos and destruction. She have been meditating. Trying to see a way to prevent the massive destrcution of Ninjago. But, just today she found it... and... it involved her leaving us...-Sensei Wu said.

- WHAT?!-we all asked-yelled hysterically.

- I-i-is she going to... to die?-Jay asked what the rest of us couldn't.

- What? No, but she needs to... it's better if she tells you. She said she will tonight-my dad said.

Le time skip until dinner...

It was Paty night to cook. She told Zane that she will handle the whole dinner tonight. She prepared meal and rice, but mostly desserts: pie, chocolate, cake, she bought ice-cream. But none of us had appetite. We eat a bit of everything, to be polite. Cole barely touched the cake. I thinik the idea of loosing her was to tough...

- What's up guys? You barely eat, I prepared your favorite things-she said with a warm smile.

- I'm not hungry-we all said at unison.

- Wow, night of the Hunger Games huh?-she joked, trying to ease the tension.

- Sort off-Zai replied softly.
