Chapter 51: New Darkness

No P.O.V.

It wasn't a person. It was an army, Zane pointed out the presence of a dark spirit. Those were a dark purple, and none of them had a face (Slenderman D:), all of them had a big armour covering their chest and a big helmet, in the exact same purple shade. The face of the master of Magic turned pale. 

— They appear to come from the Dark Island —P.I.X.A.L. said— Are they part of the stone army?

— No... it's worse—Paty mentioned.

— What is it? Is people turned evil? It's being used Dark Matter against people? —Nya asked.

— That would be better... This is worse, way worse, this is... —Paty began

— "A single drop has the power to turn a man's heart as black as night" What could be worse than that? —Sensei Garmadon asked.

— A creature made fully of darkness, this are the Knights of Darkness —Paty said.

— The Knights of Darkness? I've never saw one of those in my life —Sensei Wu said.

— Creatures that can only be summoned once every 100 years, they are a powerful, mighty and resistant army. Without something to stop them a Knight of Darkness can live indefinitely. The last and only time summoned, the Knights of Darkness distroyed Ninjago almost completely. The took 1000 of innocent lifes and left Ninjago in ruin. People used to believe they came from hell, from the blood of the Overlord itself —Misako said reading a scroll.

— And who summoned them? —Jay questioned.

— Let me see... Who would summon a creature of darkness and destruction? A bunny? —Erika snapped. Jay looked to her still confused.

— It was the Overlord Jay, come on it's not that hard —Zai protested.

— N-nothing have changed, the chaos is going to destroy Ninjago —Paty said.

— WHAT?! No it can be! You must done something! —Lloyd said.

— We must fight the Overlord, and destroy for good —she replied.

When those things touched the sand, everything became colder, like those snow storms in the night. When everyone is on their houses. And the wind blowing made the sound of a kid crying. The Knights of Darkness just seem to be stronger with that. While the ninja team was getting concered of the destruction they could bring. Everyone was ready to fight, but the Knights of Darkness weren't moving, like, waiting for something.

— P.I.X.A.L. are you still connected to the Destiny's Bounty systems? —Kai asked-whipsered.

— It's not safe to bring it. It still needs the weapon system to be fixed properly —she said.

— P.I.X.A.L. it doesn't matter, just do it —Erika whispered.

— That could bring several consequences, like... —she said.

— P.I.X.A.L. DO IT NOW! —Paty yelled.

Everyone was a bit surprised, Paty never yelled to P.I.X.A.L. before, so it must be vital to bring it. So P.I.X.A.L. obeyed, she had access to the auto pilot of the Destiny's Bounty and call it to the bay.

— It's coming —P.I.X.A.L. said.

One of the the Knights of Darkness was bigger, his armour looked thicker and the helmet was a lot of detail on it, probably a general or something. He moved first, he rushed towards Paty but she could dodge the punch in the last second. His fist dug in the sand, if that would hit Paty, it would leave her in a K.O. the rest of the Knights got in attack. Jay shocked like 14, but none fall, Zane frozed almost 17, but they broke the ice, Kai burned them but their armours seemed to protect them, Cole's earth just stunned them, Morro's wind didn't blew them, P.I.X.A.L. couldn't help a lot since her powers justed affected machines. Erika's illusion didn't stopped them, if she blind them they used the ears, or who know what, Zai's shadows were fastly destroyed, Nya's exo-suit was just getting dents, Skylor's powers were just a copy of the others so it didn't help much. Not even Lloyd's green power destoryed them. And Paty's magic just paralyed them, for 8 seconds... The powers weren't doing shit. Not even fueled with Robyn's power. And the Spinjitzu just hurted them a bit, as useful as the powers.

The knights were fighting as much as they could the ninja team, but the general was focused on destroying the Master of Magic. The only thing she could do, was dodge the lethal punches. But the knights showed their superiority in the battlefield. They easily surrounded the team.

— What now? —Jay asked.

Lloyd hold Erika's hand, Kai hold Skylor's, Cole hold Zai's hand, Zane grabbed P.I.X.A.L. hand, Morro grabbed Robyn's, Sensei Garmadon grabbed Misako's hand, and she grabbed Wu (fair is fair). Jay, looked for Paty's but she didn't notice his attempts. She kept her position.

— You're not going to destroy us —she threaten— I'll do anything to protect my team.

— Oh stupid girl, we're not trying to destroy you, we are testing you —the general said— With a transformation you'd be a great Dark Knight, black would suit you well.

— We heard the nigga —Paty mocked.

— Trust me, it doens' suit her... —Nya mocked— pink is definetly her color.

— Well, darkness run through her veins, so does with this... Samurai —the general said.

He began running the blade of his dark sword through Paty's cheek, not pressure enough to hurt her. Jay and Kai went furious, they can't say that about Nya and Paty. They just can't, not of Kai's sister and Jay's girl. Nya, was right, even though she and Jay aren't a couple and love that way anymore they still care, they all are a team after all.

— You move your sword from my face and stop taking like a fucking rapist, I know were I belong and that is with my family (sound like Splinter XD #TMNTRocks) —Paty said, pushing the sword.

— Yeah, we are staying with the ninja —Nya agreed.

It was mind shattering scene, Paty and Nya weren't just agreeing on something. But they were acting like friends for the first time since they met. So the ninjas remained quiet, letting them continue. (Someone pointed out that I should be nicer to Nya, I can say that... I'm trying, and it hurts D:).

— Mmmmh... I remember you... you were under our control during the invasion to Ninjago, we didn't introduced properly, were just MUD...—the general said, glaring at Garmdon when he said "mud".

— What? He think that just using the vampire rapist voice he is going to lure us to join him? —Paty joked for Nya.

— Yeah, he must think that he is convincent with the "sexy" voice —Nya mocked imitating his voice.

— ENOUGH! —the general shouted humiliated.

And he swung his sword towards Nya, Paty protected her and the rest of the team on a bubble. The whole army stabbed the bubble in an useless and pathetic atempt to break it. However, it was doing something. It hurted Paty, it made it like 100,000 times less painful, but it still cause her pain, thats the trick of that spell. Slowly, she was getting weaker, the bubble will disappear soon. But like some sort of miracle, the Destiny's Bounty covered them and they all got on board, just on time because Paty's enery drained out and she fainted. Jay caught her and let her carefully in the floor of the deck. He run his fingers through the cheek the Knight of Darkness did with his sword, it felt hot.Robyn touched her forehead, trying to restore her energy, Paty slowly woke up, with a terrible headache.

— Ugh, wha-? Oh, just in time —Paty said, stroking the floor of the ship.

— You okay, Paty? —Erika asked.

— Yes, I think E, thanks —she smiled.

— This is going to be harder than other enemies... —Zane commented.

— But we know what they want… —Cole said.

Everyone looked at Paty.

— What? —she asked.

— You have something they have want, therefore, so does the Overlord —Sensei Garmdon said.

— Probably is for the Restoring Spell—Sensei Wu said.

— The restoring spell? What does it do?—Kai asked.

— As the names says, it can restore anything, an arm, leg, an eye, an organ, even a full body. But that would consume a lot of my energy. The only spell that is more dangerous than that is the Killer Spell, that one could kill everything in a ratio of 2m, but, paying the highest price —Paty explained.

— There is only one thing that can stop the Dark Knights, its the Knights of Light —Misako said.

— Then we should become the Knights of Lights —Lloyd said.
