Chapter 56: Just a Monster?

Forgive me for not updating, but I didn't had internet, then fucking Wattpad jammed and now I hace a new phone, so I couldn't update until today D:

Cole's P.O.V.

A light bounce and transformed us just as in the Temple of Light. When our transformation began we all got cool outfits (the ones of 2016). Paty was the last one, but when she was transforming, something happened.

She collapsed in the floor, her face reflected she was feeling a lot of pain. I was worried for her, but that become fear when her skin began to turn a dark purple 2 horns grew on her head and her teeth that were clenched in pain, became sharp fangs, then 2 wings of pure dark energy. I swear that I heard a weak "help me".

Then she stood up, her eyes were red and showed fury. She began to attack us. She shot magic, but it wasn't pink as her usual power. It was a dark purple, almost black, just as her now broken gi. We dodge her magic, as I noticed something, that's not magic, but pure darkness, like the dark matter in the Garmatron. Then, her evil laugh gave me the ultimate proof.

— That's not her! —I called— It's the Overlord!

— How are you sure? —Kai asked.

— I know my tiny to well, like Lloyd, she doesn't know how to do a good evil laugh —I said, almost not dodging a shot thay went right in my leg.

— I sense she isn't trapped, she is doing this under some sort of dark influence —Zane said.

— Of course reading her mind is useful now! —Lloyd argued.

— I already told you how it works, I don't "read minds" I just "sense" things —Zane said.

She began to attack Robyn, Erika and Zai with fury. The 3 girls dodge the shots as much as they could until we came with a plan. Erika used her illusions to make her blind. And Zai made a rope of shadows. And tie her up. As I expected, the darkness would hold her back. Paty struggled and squirmed but it was useless. But just in case. Morro made a barrier of wind.

— We got her! —Kai and Lloyd high-fived.

— Robyn, stay back —Morro said.

— What? No. She is my friend too —Robyn protested.

— We don't need her to be close of a source to make her stronger —Sensei Wu said— It's better that you stand back.

—Erika you can give her, her sight again —Lloyd said, her girlfriend nodded.

— LET ME GO! I DEMAND YOU RELEASE ME! —Paty said, her voice was deeper and scary.

Jay jumped a little, surprised by the violent change of her voice. He still love her, and that love make him walk towards her. He was a few centimeters of her and she let out a loud cry. And from the spots of darkness, the Knights of Darkness came out of them. I feel something on my back. A sword, it was just as the one that I got in the temple of light, but this was was shining (for Lloyd and tje other girls, it was of the color of their suit).

The rest of the guys noticed the same thing and when on of the knights was about to attack Lloyd, he stabbed the knight with a sword, and it exploded in a shiny dark purple dust. We began to destory the Dark Knights (not Batman :'D).

While we destroyed all the Knights, Jay was shivering scared, not of the Knights of Darkness, of what his girl have become. We noticed that she was getting closer to him. And we pulled him away from.

— J-Jay? —Paty gasped her voice sound like herself again, as her eyes turned green again.

— Paty?! Let me go! My girl needs me! —Jay jerked his arms and rushed to our monstrous girl.

He hugged her tight and she rested her head on his shoulder. A weak smile appeared on both of their faces. Paty began to cry.

— I'm a monster Jay... —she whispered— I've become a true monster. I'm just a monster.

— You just changed, but I'll love you no matter how much you change. I know it isn't best moment, but I should ask it a while ago. W-would be my girlfriend? —Jay asked, blushing madly.

Before she could answer, her body began to glow. Literally burst in a bright light. Her purple skin began to fall like it was paint off her, revealing her tan skin. Her hair glow, giving the length it had before her training (in a few words, really long D':). And her uniform became just as ours, but her designs were in pink. When her transformation was completed, she stared at her hands, not believing herself what just have happened. An ear to ear grin appeared slowly on her face.

— YES! —she squealed, tackling Jay.
