Chapter 60: Fame is a Bitch

Erika's P.O.V.
Then the people came out of their hiding places. And surrounded us, clapping, cheering, and trying to take pictures of us.

— The ninjas! They've saved us again! —a man said.
— There weren't just 5? —a kid asked.
— Well our gang is bigger, we found a lot of new masters —Lloyd said.
— This guys have powers have too? —the same kid asked.
— Just 1 of them is a guys —Morro said taking his hoodie off— Me.
— MORRO! —a woman screamed.
— Easy his one of us now —Kai said.
— And them? —a woman asked.
— They are the Mistresses of Amber, Technology (guess who), Shadow, Prime, Illusion, and Magic & Water —Cole said.

We took our hoodies off and we were dazzled by a ton of flashes of the cameras. And we felt like about to become deaf from all the shouting and asking of autographs. I was really awkward, I mean we saved them because it was the right thing to do, not for fame. I felt a bit more relaxed when Lloyd discreetly gave me his hand, and I saw Paty blushing a hot pink. Hehe, some things never change. We moved through the crowd and a lot of people began to pull us into hugs, specially to the 6 we were the newer additions to the team so, we made impact especially to some guys of our age that were in the crowd. It was weird, but one of them literally kissed me! I MEAN WTF?!!! Lloyd was furious but he managed to hide it. Until we arrived to the Monastery, which took us 3 hours, that was filled with fans and reporters. We sneak from the backyard door. We keep in ninja mode until we arrived to the guys' room.

— News travel fast huh? —Cole joked.
— What's going on?! My Monastery is invaded by fans of the ninjas screaming "I love you ninjas!". Mind  explaining? —Sensei Garmadon asked super pissed off.
— Well, we defeated at least 200 of those things, Paty got revenge on the General, and then everything turned fangirling, fanboying, and reporters all over us, we tried to hide but I think they found us —Zai said.
— I barely understand what's going on myself —Lloyd said— They kissed Erika, MY ERIKA!!!
Sensei Garmadon's frown was replaced by laughter at Lloyd's anger, meanwhile I had other priorities.

Paty's P.O.V.
When Sensei Garmadon began laughing Erika seemed sick, she rushed to the shared bathroom. I got worried and followed her, to see if she was alright. When I saw what she was doing, I began to laugh out loud. She was washing her teeth desperately. That brought a few iCarly memories.

— You okay? —I asked, amused.
— Shut up, that dude wasn't a good kisser —she said.
— Point taken —I said, and went with the rest of the group.
Seriously this is super awkward, being famous is the last thing I want, before being a ninja I wished I could be invisible. Now we have fans and people looking for interviews. I can't handle talking in front of so many people, much less when they actually know who I am. I just can't.
— Ninjas I think you might have some interest on this —Sensei Wu said.

We went to the TV room, we sat on the couches and put the news. Aaaaand there we were, one of the reporters in front of the Monastery,  took the attention. There was a boy awfully familiar to me, he had pale and light brown hair, dirt brown eyes and a big round nose.

— Here I am, in the big building where we think the ninjas dwell —the reporter said.
—Monastery —we all said.
— We have information of the new ninjas. Morro, master of wind, ex-villain that almost destroyed the village of Stiix, reformed ninja. But can we really trust on his change? —the man asked.
— Hey! —Morro protested.
— Now the female ninjas, Robyn Andrews, Master of Prime. Sister of the famous thief of Stiix, Ronin Andrews. Our investigation suggests that she was a thief herself. What kind of people can get in the ninja group nowadays? —the reporter asked.
— Hey! I've changed! —Robyn protested.
— We know potato —Ronin said.
— Then, Skylor Chen, Master of Amber. Daughter of Mister Chen, owner of the Noodle House (just that). That girl should go to make noodles instead of fighting, am I right? —he said.
— I'm going to grab a noodle bowl and put in his $&@!#%*£¥! —Skylor snapped.
— P.I.X.A.L. Borg, she used to be just an assistant on Borg Industries, and now she is another Nindroid. Be a good robot and bring me a coffee instead of playing superhero —the man joked.
— I would like to see him doing half of the things I did in Borg Industries  —P.I.X.A.L. said.
— Erika Brooks, Master of Illusion, our investigation says she was a latina genius on school before she left to loose time with a purple suit. Being smart on school didn't gave her good judgment on life huh? —he said.
— A VER PENDEJO DE MIERDA VEN Y DIMELO A LA CARA!! —Erika said as she grabbed a chancla.
— Where did she...? —Kai began.
— She hide chanclas all over the Monastery.
— Zai Nicole Julien, a girl who grew up running of her own family, Zane could use some help when he grew up ya know? —he said.
— ALRIGHT I'M KILLING HIM RIGHT NOW! —Zai said.
— Nya Smith, the Samurai X, she was doing fine until she got the water power, that according to our investigation aren't natural powers. Go and put some make-up and give up already.
— YOU'RE NEEDING MAKEUP WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU!! —Nya said.
— When WE are done —I corrected.
— Finally the worst. Patricia "Paty" Power, Master of Magic & Water. We investigated and discover she she was just a mexican freak on school the kind of students that get good grades because she have no social life, besides her exs. If Donald Trump didn't want those kind of people on USA why should we? She was a lonely nerd. And now she miraculously she is a Spinjitzu Master?
