Jay's P.O.V.

She was on my knees, and Sensei Wu had a hand on my shoulder.

— Hey... —she said, and her weak legs failed to her.

I reacted and catch her, placing her in the floor delicately. I sighed in relief. She just needs rest, and she'll be fine.

— I don't have much time... —she said weakly.

— What for what? Where?  —everyone questioned

— Alive... —she said.

— Nonononononono please no! —I said as he began to cry.

Who cares if it isn't manly, I can't help it, the pain I feel right now, is too strong. I heard someone else crying. Actually... the whole team was on tears.

— Don't leave us! —Zai said.

— We'll get you to a hospital! —Morro assured.

— My situation is beyond medicine —Paty said calmly.

— Cast a spell to cure yourself —Erika said.

— I can't, I sacrificed my soul, to destroy the Overlord once and for all —Paty said.

— PLEASE! DON'T LEAVE ME! DON'T ABANDON ME! —I sobbed— You'll be fine, and we will marry remember?

— I would love things were like that. But I had to make a choice, and I choose to protect you —she said.

— Please you can't die! —Robyn said.

— Stay with us tiny! —Cole said.

— It brakes my heart to see you all in tears. But I can't stay, I would if I was able to if that make them smile again. But I'm not, it doesn't depend on me anymore. This is the Destiny of the Pink Ninja, this is MY destiny.

I grabbed the ring and put in her finger.

— I wish it could be official, and I had the chance to marry the most amazing, handsome, funny, sweet,  and smartest guy on the universe —I said, placing the hand with the ring.

She run her left hand through my hair, I grabbed her arm and began to stroke it. Everyone placed a hand on her. The girls on her belly and sides, Kai on her left arm, Lloyd on her right shoulder, Cole on her head, Zane held her right hand. And Morro on her right cheek.

— It's nice that this will be my last sensation on this world. What will come next, I don't know —Paty smiled weakly.

— I don't want to loose you, I can't. I'll die without you  —Jay said, as my tears got her arm wet.

— And I'll never rest in peace if you suffer because of me —Paty said— Please Jay be strong, for me.

— I- I- I- I'll  try —I sobbed.

— Jay... take my medallion. As long as you wear it, I'll be with you...  —she said.

I took it and put it on my neck.

— It suits you better than me —she giggled softly.

This can't be happening, this isn't happening!!! I can't be loosing her forever. She is getting weaker and weaker.

— Don't go... —Zane said.

— We need to stay together! —Skylor said.

— We must be able to do something —Erika said.

— You always saved me... Now it is my turn to save you... —Paty said.

She closed her eyes, and her body lost all the strenght. I touched her chest, trying to find her heartbeat, but there was nothing.

— No... Wake up... Wake up!! Please... I need you... —I sobbed.

A tear fell down my cheek, and it fell on her medallon. It glowed so did Paty, and her body disappeared, she banished, she became light. Paty's... well... my medallion lost it pink color, and turned transparent, it glowed again, but in blue. It accepted its new owner.

— She is... Sh- She's gone...—Sensei Wu said.

I know what are you thinking... How there will be a second book if the protagonist died? Well technically Paty wasn't the first master of magic... So someone else might take her place...
