Chapter 58: Happy New Year

Cole's P.O.V.
Paty and Borg invited us to the beach, again. We tried to decline, buy sometimes I forget how persuasive can be. We accepted, but this time we did use the Realm Crystal.

Day 1
We arrived late so we couldn't swim, but we ate Sushi, after that we saw a show in the beach with people playing with fire. Zai and I cuddled staring at them, Erika and Lloyd were cuddling as well. Morro had Potato sitting on his lap. Zane had his arm wrapped around P.I.X.A.L.'s waist, as her head rested on his shoulder. Kai and Skylor were cuddling, sort of. Kai keep insisting on how he could do better. Paty and Jay weren't cuddling at all not even trying, Paty was drawing on the sand with her finger while Jay tried to hold her free hand.

I stretched to see what she is drawing, more like writing "I <3 J..." Oh! I see where she's heading... I tapped Jay's shoulder.
— What? —he asked.
— Jay, look what she's drawing —I whispered.

He obeyed unsure of what I was saying, she had the phrase I expected ready, and was surrounding it with a heart. When... a woman who was passing through stepped on it, ruining it. Paty gasped silently, and stared at the woman with rage, then to her ruined doodle, then the woman, her picture, the woman, and so on. (Hope that woman step on a lego, personal) The scene was extremely funny, but Jay and I were the only ones who could enjoy it, and heck we laughed about it, but we had to do it quietly or we would call too much attention, now that I notice Zane noticed everything too and was laughing silently himself. Paty noticed us and frowned, Jay just pulled her close kissed her cheek and...
— Oh don't worry princess, I love you too —Jay smiled.
The rest of the show they cuddled together. Paty still doodling on the sand, hearts Jay's name, both, stars, lightnings, water drops. Always receiving kisses of her boyfriend.
I gotta say, Jay is way better boyfriend with Paty than with Nya. Being honest, I never thought it would work, Jay rushed to much in trying to date someone, that he never stop to think if they would ever work. With Paty, he gave his time to fall in love for her. And heck he did. I'm happy for them. But, there's only one couple that make me happier, Zai and I, since I saw her I felt something warm on my chest, butterflies on my stomach and a feeling that made me wanna smile every time I saw her. And I still feel like that first second every time she kiss me or she tell me she loves me.

Day 2
We went to eat breakfast and then to swim. The girls went to play in the beach, we stay on the sand trying to convince Kai to swim. And I think the Senseis went to play bingo (my sister won 0.o).
— Kai stop being a crybaby and let's go, I want to swim—Morro protested.
— C'mon Kai, Paty already proof it's perfectly safe —Lloyd.
— We'll watch your back —Zane said.
— That's what worries me —Kai said.
— I have an idea, GIRLS! —I called the girls.

They walked dripping water from their bodies, the rest of the girls were using a normal bikini (respectful length), but Paty changed hers, the bottom was like a short and the top covered her belly, like a shirt.

— What happened? —Erika asked.
— Kai —we all said.
— I think we already solve that —Paty said.
— Here let me try —Skylor said.

She whispered something on Kai's ear. And he blushed lightly. She smiled and he nodded. Kai stood up, took a deep breath and walked towards the big ocean.

— What did you tell him? Wait. I don't want to know —Lloyd said.
— Trust me you don't —Erika whispered— Because I doubt her Amber Power absorbed Paty's persuasion abilities.

Both laughed. We swim and swim, and swim until like 4 p.m. we ate and after that we began to feel a but sleepy, that was before we remember the ice cream machine and eat at least 2 each one.

Until like 7 we went to the room and we relaxed until 8:30 when we went for food and went to the shop.
— Excuse me, which show is tonight? —Zane asked.
— Tonight it's the mexican show —the attendant said.
— Thanks —Zane said before joining the looks towards Paty which wmade turn crimson red.
— We can't lose it —Jay smirked.
— Of course not —Lloyd said, poking Paty's cheek.

She blushed even more. But nodded and we head to the "club" where they have the shows. Paty recognized some of the zones, Veracruz, Sonora, and when the last act came, a few tears fell down her face.

Paty's P.O.V.
Jalisco is one of the most representative zones of her country. It was of the zone where I grew up, Mariachi hats, colorful dresses, and an intense music with all the Mexican feeling (sorry if I got to passionate, it's a bad habit getting to passionate about mexican stuff).

Day 3
Finally the last day of the year is here. Tonight I heard there's going to be a great party. Zai, Robyn, Nya, Skylor, and P.I.X.A.L. insisted on using beautiful dresses.

— Over my dead body —Erika protested.
— And you Paty? Paty? Patyyyy? —Robyn said.

My charming prince is so excited, I still feel butterflies in my belly at the sound of his delightful voice. I can't control my heartbeat, and I feel how my cheeks burn. He treats me like I am special, and when he laughs I just... How I could never feel something so amazing for anyone else?

— PATY! —Zai yelled.
— Yeah? W-what? —I asked.
— What do you think about using a dress for the new year party? —Zai asked.
— Ummm sure I mean, why not? —I said.
— Yay!!! —the other girls squealed.
— Really? —Erika frowned.

Hours later, Lloyd's P.O.V.
I heard that the girls are going to wear dresses for the party. I really like how Erika looks in a dress, even though she doesn't like them. I still think she looks hot. And when I saw her, I felt like watching an angel walking in a cloud. She was beautiful, her long dark brown hair curly, dark red lipstick and and elegant dark purple dress with black high heels. The other girls looked quite good themselves. Zai in a silver dress, Robyn in a copper dress, Skylor in an orange dress, Nya in red dress, P.I.X.A.L. In a bright violet dress, and Paty in a pink one.
We (the guys) had a similar outfits, black tuxedo, white shirt and a necktie of our uniform (Ronin's necktie is brown and Zane's is a light gray) and we went to the fanciest restaurant of the hotel and we went to see the show.
They said it was a first time show ad we were going to be the first ones seeing it.
It had a lot of oldies songs so my parents were one of the couples dancing, until they put newer songs, and Erika and I were the first ones. When the show ended we went right to the beach and we made the 12 grapes and wishes thingy. And then the countdown...

— HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! —everyone screamed.

Morro grabbed a microphone and...

— I LOVE ROBYN ANDREWS!!! —he yelled through the microphone.

I thought it was a super cool so I took the microphone of his hand and yelled...
— I LOVE ERIKA BROOKS! —I yelled.
— I LOVE ZAI NICOLE JULIEN! —Cole yelled.
— I LOVE SKYLOR CHEN! —Kai yelled.
— I LOVE P.I.X.A.L. BORG! —Zane yelled.
— I LOVE PATRICIA POWER! —Jay yelled.
