Mirai and Y/N turned to the door where there was a knock.

"Come in," Y/N managed to say as confidently as possible.

The door opened slowly and Zero entered the room. He was over 195 cm tall and with his slender and muscular build, he was an apparition. His white hair was perfectly combed back and his amber eyes looked as if he could see straight into the soul of the other.

"Hello my two. Wow... Y/N... you look breathtakingly beautiful even without the dress! I am more than happy to receive you as my bride tomorrow." His golden irises reflected deep desire.

Y/N gathered herself, "It's a good thing I'm not wearing my wedding dress yet, otherwise it would bring bad luck, my dear Zero." A challenging sparkle formed in Y/N's eyes.

Zero casually walked up to Y/N and gave her a firm hug, while Mirai reluctantly let go of Y/N to make room for Zero.

"Well, dear groom...from tomorrow on Y/N will be all yours. But tonight, me and your bride will enjoy our girls' night up on the Mountain of the Fallen. There we will get well drunk and let our bodies be cleansed in the hot springs." Mirai replied annoyed.

A slight cluck left Zero's throat and he broke the intimate embrace. "You're right. After that, she's all mine. I can hardly wait. I have to pick up Daichi right now anyway and we have our guys' night out, I'm curious to see what to expect." Zero leaned down to his bride and gave her a deep and passionate kiss.

Mirai saw clearly in the eyes of her best friend that she was not enjoying this kiss... her eyes seemed to have lost all their shine... that was it... that was exactly why Mirai would do anything tonight to ensure that her friend would be free. Whatever the cost.

zero turned away from the two women and waved again, addressing them. "Have fun and bring me my bride to the altar tomorrow, on time and with as little of a hangover as possible." Slowly, the door closed...

Both women looked at each other tensely and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good, let's get ready and make our way to the Mountain of the Fallen. I've already placed everything and the rest is in the car." Mirai grabbed Y/N firmly but supportively by the arm and left the room with her.

Y/N looked around the house she grew up in one last time, taking everything in and memorizing it...it was a strange feeling...knowing that she would probably never enter this house again. Also that she would never see her father and stepmother again...she won't miss her grandmother...she was the reason why she was in this situation and not free.

With quick steps, they both went to the large black Mercedes SUV and made their way to the hotel.

The ride was quiet. Both were preoccupied with their thoughts. Y/N tried to eat an Onigiri, but she just didn't have any appetite...everything was too heavy on her stomach.

Mirai listened to a podcast by Mic, a professional hero who also taught at the UA. He had a very loud but really amusing voice. The guy definitely knew how to entertain people. A slight smile played on Y/N's lips as she listened to the podcast and took in her surroundings, looking at the cherry blossoms out the car window.
