Shoto sat in the family study, contemplating the events of the day. The conversation with Y/N had left him with a swirl of emotions, and he was still processing everything that had happened. Just then, the door opened, and Endeavor walked in, his presence commanding.

"Shoto," Endeavor said, his tone serious yet lacking the biting edge that usually accompanied their discussions. "We need to talk."

"About what?" Shoto replied, trying to keep his tone neutral as he faced his father.

"About Y/N," Endeavor said, crossing his arms, his expression contemplative. "I've seen how you've both interacted. It seems you care for her."

Shoto's heart raced. "She's a friend," he responded quickly, aware that the mention of Y/N brought vulnerability to the forefront of his mind.

"Friendship? Is that what you call it?" Endeavor pressed, his gaze sharper. "Because it looks like she means more than that to you."

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Shoto spoke carefully. "She's strong, determined, and she challenges me. She's been through a lot, and I want to help her."

Endeavor nodded slowly, carefully considering his son's words. "You understand, from my experiences, that emotions can cloud your judgment. If you're forming a deeper connection, it will come with its own set of challenges."

"Like you and Mom?" Shoto asked, the tension between them palpable. "Our family isn't exactly a shining example of relationships."

Endeavor's expression shifted, a flicker of sadness flashing in his eyes. "You're right about that. But the past doesn't dictate your choices. You've seen how Y/N handles herself—even during the fight with the Nomu. She's resilience incarnate."

"Yeah, and it makes me want to support her," Shoto replied, more conviction filling his voice. "I want to be someone she can trust, especially after everything she's been through."

Endeavor uncrossed his arms, looking thoughtful. "It takes courage to be vulnerable, especially for heroes. But you need to be prepared for the potential fallout as well. Love is not something to take lightly."

"I know that," Shoto responded, frustration bubbling up. "I'm not looking to rush into things. I've seen what happens when feelings are neglected."

"Good," Endeavor said, his tone surprisingly supportive. "I respect your desire to build something honest. But you also need to understand that Y/N is a person with her own battles. She has her past, just as you do."

With a quick intake of breath, Shoto felt a wave of understanding. "I want to help her through it, not push her into something she isn't ready for."

"Then you should tell her. Be honest about your feelings," Endeavor advised, leaning slightly forward. "Consider what you truly want from this relationship before you make any decisions. But be ready when the moment comes."

"Got it," Shoto replied, feeling his confidence swelling. "I'll make sure to talk to her. Thank you."

As Endeavor turned to leave, he paused, glancing back at Shoto. "You're growing. And maybe, just maybe, you've found someone worth pursuing."

Shoto nodded, grateful for his father's words, despite everything that had passed between them. "I'll make sure to take this seriously."

As the door closed behind Endeavor, Shoto felt a renewed sense of determination rising within him. He was ready to confront his feelings for Y/N, knowing that with her by his side, he could navigate whatever challenges could arise.

Camping

Y/N and Shoto arrived at the campsite, their gear packed and excitement bubbling within them. The pair had decided to keep this trip a secret from their friends, preferring to enjoy the tranquility of the mountains together without any interruptions.
