Part two

An ear deafening screech caught Lucius' attention, he bolted out of bed, startling Narcissa in the proses. He burst out of the tent to see utter chaos, the large serpent that danced in the air told him all he needed to know. He dashed back into the tent,
"Lucius what is it?" Narcissa already feard the worst.
"Take everyone and get them to safety now!"
       "Lucius.."
"Now Narcissa! Get to safety now!" He slammed the golden key into her hand before dashing back out into the night, leaving an hysterical Narcissa behind. The blonde quickly gained composure before bursting into Draco's room.
"Get up! Get up now Draco." The boy didn't have chance to come around as Narcissa practically dragged him out of his bed.
       "What's going on?"
"Get Hermione, I'll get Bella, we need to leave." The urgency in his mothers voice told him everything, without questioning her he dashed to action. The pair made there way to the hallway of the tent when the pained scream of Narcissa hit them. They ran towards the sound only to notice the blonde clutching Apollo tightly as the creature fretted.
Bellatrix was nowhere in sight.

Hermione didn't click on at first, mainly because she'd not long been in this room herself watching the woman sleep and now she's  gone.
"They've got her! They got her and I didn't do anything!" Hermione watched the scene before her, her heart aching as Narcissa crumbled, Draco dashing to scoop his mother up and Apollo's little cries were enough to crack anyone's heart.
"You don't know that for sure. Aunt Bella's terrible for wandering off, you know this. She's probably talking to some animal in the wood safe and sound as we speak" Hermione caught onto his tactic, though judging by what she's witnessed over the last few weeks with the woman, he might not be far wrong. Though that dreaded feeling lingered, she needed to find her, and alive. Evening out her breathing and gathering her own emotions Hermione joined in trying to comfort Narcissa, for everyone's sake. They didn't have much time.
"Bellatrix has a few tricks up her sleeve Narcissa, she's capable of things I've never imagined." The blonde looked to Hermione, about to respond when a piercing scream tore through their earbuds.

"Quick we don't have much time. Draco, take Hermione and Apollo, and this. This will take you somewhere safe until all this is over."
"You can't be serious, I'm not leaving you and father here to fight alone." The argument that started faded into the distance as Hermione realised what Narcissa intended to do. She was no coward, she wasn't a helpless child that needed protecting, and she certainly wasn't going to leave knowing Bellatrix was out there.

So she ran.

Narcissa quickly dashed after her, straight out of the tent and nearly into a flying spell that just missed her by centimetres. Had it not have been for Draco's quick reflexes both Narcissa and Apollo would be nothing but diced limbs.

The trio ran amongst the flaming tents, wands at the ready, save Apollo who clutched tightly to Narcissa. The mother in the blonde couldn't run past the torn apart families, with young children crying for there nowhere in sight parents. She decided there and then that she'd send them through her portkey to safety until all this blows over, hopefully they'd be reunited. Between Draco and Narcissa they had managed to send at least sixty odd children and their mothers to safety, a number of parents however opted to send their child to safety but remain and fight. During their tirade they caught no hide nor hair of Hermione or Bellatrix.

Minerva strongly held her own against four death eaters, she hadn't lived this long and survived two wars to loose to imbeciles tonight. No, Minerva was in her own right a force to be reckoned with it, and it showed as she took all four out at the same time, leaving a Ginny Weasley in utter shock.
"Miss Weasley, what are you doing out here? Never mind that come here this once, I will not have you standing there mouth agape acting like an easy target." Minerva was normally gentle, though gentleness mattered very little in this moment as she grabbed the girl by the arm, tugging her in close. Her family must be worried sick no doubt.

Lucius fought two masked death eaters, trying with all his might to take them down, but they played dirty. He couldn't see their faces but knew they were smiling smugly as they sent an unforgivable his way.
"Lucius!" The cry from his wife made him waver, he'd lost his train of thought more concerned for her safety than his own he spun in her direction only to see something coming from her direction, narrowly missing him as it destroys the unforgivable along with its casters.
Narcissa froze, stunned that she even managed to cast it in the first place.
Lucius wasted no time in dashing towards his wife, checking over her to ensure she was unharmed.
"What was that Cissy?" He finally asked
"Something Bellatrix taught me...I never thought I'd actually use it let alone cast it....but when I saw you...nobody hurts my family Lucius." Something flashed within her eyes, Lucius had to take a step back. He'd seen that look before, that look of pure danger, though never in his sweet wife's eyes.
"What's the matter Lucius?" Concern took over those blue eyes, snapping him from his train of thought.
"Nothing Love, where are the children?"

Hermione found herself amongst utter chaos, spells and charms flying all around her. On the up side, she wasn't entirely alone, she'd stubbled across the Weasley's and Harry whilst they searched for Ginny. A part of Hermione felt guilty for instantly darting away from the Malfoy's, but something in that moment knocked all rational thought from her mind, all that occupied it was finding Bellatrix. Now she stood fighting alongside Harry.
"Where's the Malfoy's during all this." Ron snapped as he quickly turned around guarding his back as a wordless spell came soaring his way. Hermione grew slightly frustrated as she gave as good as she got, taking two death eaters out herself. She knew where this was going, Ron always had something to say about the Malfoy's.
"Don't even go there Ron. I'm far too busy fighting for my life than with your childish arse." Hermione dodged a spell and sent one of her own, just as she caught a glimpse of Draco fighting his own battles, Narcissa on standby sending whoever she could to safety.
"There's the Malfoy's, risking their lives to save others." Hermione couldn't help the smug retort, even as she just narrowly dodged a rather lethal charm.
Ron didn't respond, instead he turned his attention briefly to Harry who was far to occupied with not dying. Harry found himself fighting along side Arthur and the twins, he was taken aback when Lucius appeared along side him, blocking one of the spells the death eaters sent in Harry's direction.
"Ginny is safe Arthur, Minerva came across her, Narcissa has sent her to safety." The blonde informed the older Weasley, who choked up slightly. A heavy weight had been lifted when he heard that coming from his colleague. For a moment he had thought he'd lost his only daughter.
"Thank you Lucius." He chocked back, further thankfull that the Death eaters seemed to take a step back, flying away like the traitors they are. Draco and Narcissa saw that as their opportunity to join the group.
"Have you seen my sister?" Narcissa wasted no time, she needed to know. Arthur looked rather regretful at his cousin.
"No, no I haven't." Narcissa's heart crumbled further as did the Gryffindors.
"We'll find her my love, don't give up on her so easily. She can certainly stand her own." Lucius tried to reassure his wife.
"Of course she can, she's Bellatrix Black, there's no one like her." Draco said with a half heart, he too felt the fear for the worst seeping in.

Moody was mildly outnumbered though he gave his all, he'd be damned if he was about to die like this.
"Come on yer bunch of inbreded bastards, that all you got?" More and more followers of he must not be named gathered around him, and for the first time that night he faltered. He became further stunned when over half the death eaters fell to the floor without a sound and the few remaining gasping for air as an oversized black lasso type leather wrapped itself around their necks, crushing all six of them together. He'd only ever known one person to use such a tactic.
"Don't forget your training Alastor, they need you now more than ever." That voice travelled amongst the dust and fog to his ears, then slowly out of the dark misty air came a fully black horse, and there in all her might and scantily dressed at that sat the dark witch.
The man had little chance to respond before the horse took off, dragging the masked clad killers with them.
