 I walked into the kitchen, “Hey mom, I’m going to the store. Ya need anything?”

"Yeah, we need laundry soap and dryer sheets. Can you pay for them and I’ll pay you when you get back?” she asked.

“Yeah, sure be back in a few. Love ya."

"Love you too honey!"

I walked outside to my baby, a 2009 purple Camaro SS. I just got it last month and bought it with my own money too. It took me forever to get the money but it was worth it.

I've been saving for almost 3 years. The reason I wanted it so bad is because it once belonged to my dad, but he had to sell it to pay bills when we were having money problems .He had gotten $10 grand for it. He died in a car accident a couple of months after he sold it and I’ve been trying to get it back ever since.

I smiled as I remembered how much he loved that car. We re-built the whole car for 4 years, after we bought from the junk yard and it just looked like an old beat up car. We transformed it into a beauty.

I was so happy when I found out he sold it to his best friend, Uncle J, who said that if I was able to give him $7 grand, he would sell it back to me.

So for three whole years I spent all of my free time babysitting, pawning off unimportant things, and working at an auto garage. In the end, I saved $10 grand and I was finally able to buy my dad's car back with $3 grand to spare.

I pulled into the parking lot of 'Martin's Supermarket', parked, and was on my way to the laundry supply aisle to grab a bottle of 'Tide’ and laundry sheets. Once that was done, I walked over to the energy drink aisle.

I scanned their selection until I found the Monsters and looked for the green one. 'Man only one pack left. Sucks for whoever else likes this.'

I went to grab the side of the pack, and just as I was about to pull it up, another hand grabbed it. I looked up to glare at the person who had the nerve to try to take my Monster from me.

"Who the skittles do you think you ar-" I stopped mid-sentence when I saw who it was.

"I think I'm Chase... well at least that's what my birth certificate says anyway," he said sarcastically.

'Oh great it’s Chase, the stupid pervert who tried to hit on me one time. Yippee.’

"Okay, listen here Chase, I was here first, I grabbed it first, and I saw it first- I'm leaving with it." I said tugging it towards me.

His smirk grew even bigger (if it was possible). "I don't think so, Babe, it's mine, and I’ll be leaving with it," he said while pulling it closer to him and, more importantly, away from me.

'Gosh he's strong!'

I pulled it towards me once more "No it's mine ‘Babe'! It’s coming home with me!"
