"So Brooke,will you do me the honor of joining me as my official girlfriend,to my family reunion?"Zack asked me while swinging our hands back and forth.Right now we're on a date,at the beach.
"Yes Zack I would love to join you as your official girlfriend,to your family reunion."I said smiling.
It's been 5 weeks since that horrible yet amazing day happened.3 weeks since Zack asked me to be his girlfriend and 2 weeks since I forgave Chase.But it's been 5 weeks since I've seen James. James,I feel so guilty for what I did to him.He hasn't showed up to the shop since that day.I always call him but he never answers.
But enough about him I shouldn't be thinking about him while I'm on a date with my boyfriend.
"Brooke look at that,"Zack said pulling me at of my thoughts.I looked at him to see him pointing to the sky.I followed his finger and saw the sun was just beginning to set.
"We should lay down and watch."I said.
He nodded his head and laid down and patted the spot next to him,I laid down and rested my head on his chest.
"Wow,it's so incredibly beautiful."I said in awe.This is the first time I've ever watched the sunset.
"Yes you are."Zack said smiling down at me.
"I'm so glad I found you Zack,even though a lots happened in these past couple of weeks I'm glad I choose you,I should've from the start."I said.
He turned onto his side and looked at me with eyes full of love.
"I'm glad," "He smiled sadly,"I thought I was going to lose you to my brother."He said his eyes watering and a tear fell out.
I leaned up to him and kissed his tear away."I'm sorry I did that to you Zack,"I said my own tears spilling out.
Through my watering eyes I saw more tears fall down his face,but this time he was smiling.
He leaned in and kissed me,I kissed him back.He pulled away and wiped my tears and I did the same to him.
"Brooke?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you,"
My breath caught and I cried even more but tears of love and happiness,his words held so much love and tenderness,there was no way he was lying,but he wouldn't any ways.
"I love you to Zack."I said looking him in the eyes.
"Brooke,I love you more than anything in the whole world,you're the only girl I've wanted and seen since the 8th grade.I always dreamt of holding you in my arms,and now that I am,I want nothing else in the world but to do this forever.We may only be Juniors almost Seniors but I want you to be in my life forever."He said pulling me up so that I was standing and he got down on one knee.
"Brooke will accept this promise ring that I'm giving you?"He asked me.
I started crying,and nodded my head yes.He stood up and smiled the worlds biggest smile and I jumped on him wrapping my legs around his waist.
"Yes Zack,I would want nothing more than to wear your promise ring!"I shouted.
He kissed me then put me down and grabbed my hand.He pulled the silver ring out and showed me what was inscribed into it, 'Brooke Stephens,you own my heart,I <3 U.'
I cried even more when I saw that,but the water works started when he put the ring on my index finger on my left hand.
"I hope those are happy tears,"He laughed.
"Of course."
"Brooke I love you so much,that ring is true,you own my heart and have since 8th grade."He said.
"Can we go get yours inscribed?"I asked.
"Of course darling."He answered.
"Where's yours?"I asked.
He pulled out his necklace and on it was a matching ring of mine but a male one.
"Why aren't you wearing it?"I asked.
"Well in case you said,um no."He said looking down.
"I can't believe you thought I was going to say no."I said.
"I didn't think you were going to say no,it was just in case."He said.
"I know,I was just playing with."I said smiling a huge smile at him.
"That wasn't nice Brooke,now I have to punish you."He said and pulled me to him.
"And whataya going to do?"I asked.
"This,"He said and smashed his lips onto mine.
I smiled,"You should punish me more often,"I mumbled against his lips.
"Yeah I think I should to."He said and continued kissing me.

He dropped me off at home at 1 in the morning,but I could care less.Tonight was the best night ever and I'm pretty sure there will be more as long as I'm with him.
Which will be a long time.
I got changed into some shorts and a tank top and fell asleep dreaming of my future with Zack and man is it one that I want to happen.
