In a world where being born an Omega is seen as a mark of weakness, what happens when someone is born even weaker than that? How does society treat you? How do your family and friends look at you when you're deemed less than the lowest rank?
Kim Tae...
It was a calm night, the night before Taehyung’s final test. Taehyung sat in front of the dressing table mirror, lost in his thoughts. Tomorrow was the day he would have to prove himself, to make all his and his husband’s hard work worthwhile.
He was so consumed by his worries that he didn’t notice Jungkook's approach. Jungkook stood behind him silently, watching him.
“Tae,” Jungkook called softly. Taehyung looked up at the mirror, meeting Jungkook’s eyes. His own gaze was filled with nervousness, while Jungkook held warmth and reassurance.
Without a word, Jungkook moved in front of Taehyung and knelt down. Taehyung noticed the rectangular box Jungkook was holding.
“I have something for you,” Jungkook said, placing the box on Taehyung’s lap.
“What’s this?” Taehyung asked, curiosity momentarily overriding his anxiety.
“Just a gift,” Jungkook replied with a small smile.
Taehyung opened the box, and his eyes lit up. Inside was a gold anklet, beautiful and delicate.
“It’s beautiful,” Taehyung murmured, his fingers brushing over the chain.
“Let me put it on you,” Jungkook said, lifting one of Taehyung’s feet onto his knee. He carefully took the anklet from the box and fastened it around Taehyung’s ankle.
“Why a gift, suddenly?” Taehyung asked as Jungkook gently lowered his leg and lifted the other.
“Think of it as an early celebration— for mastering your Enigma completely,” Jungkook replied.
Taehyung was wearing shorts, and his legs were exposed. The gold anklet gleamed against his skin, drawing attention to its beauty.
After fastening the second anklet, Jungkook placed both of Taehyung’s feet on his knee, letting him admire the jewelry.

“It’s so beautiful, Koo. Thank you,” Taehyung said softly, admiring how elegant his feet looked.
“But don’t you think it’s a bit soon? I haven’t pased the test yet,” he added nervously.
Jungkook took Taehyung’s hands in his, resting them on his lap.
“I believe in you. You’ll overcome anything. You’ll do great tomorrow— for us, for our future, for… me,” Jungkook said, his voice filled with certainty and emotion.
Taehyung nodded, though the doubt in his heart lingered. He had always underestimated himself, never fully recognizing his own capabilities. But perhaps that was just his nature. It was a blessing that Jungkook was by his side.
“I’ve never worn jewelry like this before,” Taehyung said with a small smile, looking down at his feet resting on Jungkook’s knee.
“Well, I think jewelry suits you perfectly,” Jungkook said, lifting one of Taehyung’s hands and pressing a kiss to it.
