“You know the address, right?” Jungkook asked the man who was climbing into the truck.
“Yes, sir. Don’t worry,” the man replied as he started the engine, the truck loaded with their belongings.
“Alright, call me when you get there,” Jungkook said, watching the man nod before driving off down the street.
With a sigh, Jungkook turned and headed back into the house. He found Taehyung in the living room, carefully packing the collection of wooden sculptures made by him into a box. His husband looked so focused, his delicate hands handling each piece with care, as if they were treasures.
Jungkook couldn’t help but smile. He walked over quietly and slipped his arms around Taehyung’s waist, pulling him into a warm back hug.
“Baby,” Jungkook murmured, resting his chin on Taehyung’s shoulder.
“I told you, we don’t need to bring these. We have plenty of decorations in the new house too.”
Taehyung sighed softly but didn’t stop his careful packing.
“No, Koo. These mean something to me. They welcomed me the first day I walked into this house. I can’t leave them behind.”
He picked up one particularly odd-shaped sculpture— the one he’d noticed when he first arrived months ago. Even Though its shape still didn’t make sense to him, but he loved it anyway.
Jungkook chuckled, tightening his hold slightly. “Alright, if you want to keep them. But you know, you can come back here anytime. My workplace is here.”
Taehyung paused, turning in Jungkook’s arms to face him. his hands moving to rest on Jungkook’s shoulders.
“I know, I don’t like the thought of being apart from you all day. It doesn’t feel right.”
Jungkook grinned, his dark eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Oh, yahh...but think of it this way- in the morning, I’ll leave for work, and you’ll kiss me goodbye. Then we’ll miss each other like crazy all day long. By the evening, I’ll come running back home to you, and the desperation of being apart will make our time together even sweeter. And then…” He leaned closer, his voice dropping.
“we’ll have the best spicey night ever.”
Taehyung blinked at him, his lips parting in disbelieve but he is not surprise. His husband is a drama fan he knows.
“You’ve been watching too many dramas,” he said, giving Jungkook a mock glare.
“But admit it, you like my romantic fantasies.” Jungkook teased, as wiggling his eyebrows with a silly gain.
Taehyung give a done look, but his lips curved into a smile. "Yes, I’ll be waiting for you every day, just like in your little fantasy.”
They both laughed, their foreheads pressing together, before leaning in for a kiss. Taehyung is turning like Jungkook day by day.
So, my lovelies, if you haven’t guessed yet, Taehyung and Jungkook are moving to the city- the house they have there, where Jungkook used to live before he got married. Jungkook initially moved them away to keep Taehyung far from people for everyone’s safety. But now that Taehyung’s Enigma is under control, Jungkook no longer wants them to live in isolation. He wants them to have a normal life, just like everyone else. He hopes Taehyung can live surrounded by friends and family. And taehyung wants that too.
As the kiss deepened, Jungkook's hands slid down to Taehyung's waist, squeezing lightly. Taehyung let out a unwilling a low moan.
"Mmm, Koo, not now," Taehyung murmured, breaking the kiss. Jungkook, unwilling to stop, hold Taehyung even closer, leaned in again, but Taehyung quickly placed a hand over his mouth.
