Jungkook stepped into the room, the silence crashing over him like a ghost. Darkness swallowed the room, but it wasn't enough to hide the emptiness Taehyung had left behind. His knees buckled, hitting the cold floor as his breath shattered into broken sobs. The weight of reality crushed him. He was alone. Again.

Tears streamed down his face as he let out a choked cry, his body trembling with the agony of loss. The walls seemed to echo with memories- Taehyung's soft laughter as he ran around the room, teasing Jungkook until they tumbled onto the bed, tangled in kisses and whispered promises. Every detail replayed vividly in Jungkook's mind, each memory stabbing his heart.

"Why... Why did you leave me like this, Tae?" Jungkook's voice cracked, barely audible as he touched his bare wrist where the faint red mark of their bond had once been. Now it's clean. His fingers trembled as they traced the skin of his neck, now unmarked, void of the symbol of their eternal connection.

"You promised..."

His whispers turned into anguished screams.

"HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME? YOU TOOK EVERYTHING WITH YOU-OUR DREAMS, OUR CHILDREN, My Heart, My soul!" He punched the floor with raw, unrestrained fury, his cries hitting off the walls. Each strike seemed to mirror the shattering of his soul, his voice hoarse from the weight of his grief.

In the living room, the others sat in stunned silence, flinching with every sound of Jungkook's torment. Tears flowed freely, the weight of their collective sorrow suffocating. Jin clutched his son tightly, his tears soaking the boy's hair. Namjoon, ever the pillar of strength, struggled to maintain composure, his hands shaking as he worked tirelessly to arrange Taehyung's funeral.

Jimin and Yoongi exchanged a look of shared despair. Despite their own heartbreak, they climbed the stairs, determined to reach Jungkook. Their hearts bled for him, but they knew he needed someone to pull him back from the edge of this darkness.

On the couch, Yoonji wept quietly into Hoseok's chest. He held her tightly, murmuring soothing words, even as his own tears refused to stop.

Taehyung's parents sat in stunned disbelief, their faces pale and lifeless. They hadn't spoken a word since the news. It was as if they had frozen in time, their world shattered beyond repair. Nearby, Yeonjun sobbed uncontrollably, clinging to his brother Changbin like a lifeline. Even Beom-seok, who had always bickered with Taehyung, stood silently in a corner, his jaw clenched, tears threatening to spill. The loss felt heavier than he ever imagined it could.

They had kept Taehyung's body in a different room, away from Jungkook, fearing the sight would destroy what little remained of him. But no matter how far they kept him, Taehyung's absence was everywhere.

Jungkook's cries echoed through the house, each scream pulling everyone deeper into the abyss of grief. No one could console him. No one could fill the void. Because Taehyung was gone.

And in his absence, the world felt irreparably broken.

A few hours passed, and Jungkook still hadn't come out of his room. Yoongi and Jimin had given up trying to talk him out; exhaustion had consumed them too. Downstairs, Jin quietly moved about the kitchen after putting his son to sleep. His hands shook as he cooked food for everyone, the scent of sorrow heavy in the air.

Every chop, every stir was filled with grief, but he had to keep going-for the family, for Taehyung. Jimin joined him, silently helping, both of them crying in hushed breaths as they worked side by side.

Upstairs, Jungkook sat in the suffocating darkness of his room. His tears had dried, leaving him hollow, a lifeless figure leaning against the bed frame. He stared into the void, unblinking, until his phone buzzed softly on the floor beside him. The dim light illuminated the wallpaper-a picture of him and Taehyung smiling at the camera, happiness frozen in time.
