Jungkook and Namjoon finally strode into the police station, their presence commanding the room. The air shifted as officers scrambled to their feet, standing in respect for the head of the pack. Jungkook, still dressed in his wedding suit, looked every bit the intimidating alpha he was.

“Here, officer. The CCTV footage. You can see exactly who started the mess,” Jungkook said, his tone calm but firm as he handed over the USB.

The officer nodded, plugged it in, and began reviewing the footage. The screen flickered to life, replaying the chaos in vivid detail.

“Joon, where’s Juntae and Soo-Min?” Jin asked, his voice tinged with worry.

Namjoon placed a reassuring hand on Jin’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. They’re fine. Taehyung is with them.” He sighed, his gaze shifting to the group. “But you guys... I’m so disappointed.”

J-Hope immediately pulled a face, his bottom lip trembling as he sniffled dramatically. “What will my daughter think of me when she finds out her father was locked up in jail?”

“Chill, dude. She doesn’t understand anything yet,” Jimin replied, rolling his eyes.

“Honey, we’ll never tell her, okay?” Yoonji said, grabbing J-Hope’s hand with a concerned look, her voice soft as if consoling a child.

“I don’t lie to my daughter,” J-Hope sniffed again, looking tragically noble.

“Oh, stop it! Don’t act all honest now,” Yoonji snapped, yanking his hand away. “Should I list all your lies for you?”

J-Hope’s face crumpled further, but before their bickering could escalate, the officer interrupted.

“Leave them,” he ordered, gesturing to a junior officer, who moved forward to unlock the cell door.

One by one, they filed out, each of them avoiding Jungkook’s gaze. Yoonji, however, wasted no time marching straight up to the officer in charge.

“Officer, you need to arrest those idiots,” she demanded, pointing an accusatory finger toward the direction of the troublemakers in the computer screen.

The officer chuckled, clearly entertained. “Don’t worry, mam. We know our job.”

Satisfied, Yoonji nodded and stepped back, folding her arms as if she’d just won a case in court.

Meanwhile, the group gathered in front of Jungkook, their heads hanging low like scolded children. The atmosphere was heavy with guilt and embarrassment.

“You all have no self-control,” Jungkook said, his deep, commanding voice echoing in the station. His sharp gaze swept across each of them before he turned on his heel and walked out without another word.

Namjoon, standing beside him, shook his head and added, “He’s right, you know.”

The group exchanged guilty glances, mumbling half-hearted agreements as they shuffled out of the station, thoroughly chastised.

When they finally returned venue, the chaos was behind them, and a sense of calm had settled over the packhouse. The sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in hues of amber and rose. Some guests had already left, while others lingered, chatting softly and basking in the evening's warm glow. But none of that mattered to Jungkook and Taehyung—they had their family and closest friends by their side, and that was all they needed.

“Let’s pick up where we left off,” the officiant said gently, his voice carrying a sense of warmth and understanding. “Mates, hold each other’s hands.”
