The sun was shining brightly, and the air was crisp and fresh. Taehyung stood in their garden, lost in thought, reflecting on how much his life had changed for the better. From a childhood filled with self-doubt, thinking he was both unlucky and useless, to now—having a loving husband, two beautiful twin boys, a dream job, and a pack that cherished and respected him beyond what he ever imagined.

To make their home life even more peaceful, Taehyung and Jungkook had started growing their own vegetables and fruits. Surprisingly, they were doing quite well, and the process had become something they genuinely enjoyed.

Taehyung gasped as something suddenly latched onto his leg. He looked down to find his younger son, Yong-sun, clinging to him, his bright eyes staring up in admiration.

Yes, they still called him Mama.

"Mama, gift!" Yong-sun chirped in his adorable, broken vocabulary.

Taehyung knelt to his level, setting aside the basket of freshly picked cherry tomatoes. "A gift? What is it, sweetheart?" He ruffled his son's messy hair.

With a proud grin, Yong-sun pulled out a tiny bouquet of wildflowers, likely plucked from their garden.

"Wow, Yon! It's beautiful! Thank you, baby." Taehyung beamed as he took the little bouquet, his heart swelling with warmth.

Yong-sun giggled and immediately threw his tiny arms around his mama’s neck, delighted by the reaction.

This habit of bringing gifts? Yeah, they got it from their father. Jungkook was always randomly bringing Taehyung little presents—sometimes flowers, sometimes trinkets, sometimes… very questionable things. Naturally, the kids had started copying him.

"Do you know what these are called?" Taehyung asked, wanting to encourage his son’s speech development.

"Flor!" Yong-sun announced proudly.

Taehyung cooed at the sheer cuteness. "Not flor, sweetheart. Flowers. Say flowers."

"Flo-oer!" Yong-sun repeated, his tiny voice melting Taehyung’s heart.

Just then, a loud scream pierced the air.

"Mama! Mama! Mama!"

Taehyung turned just in time to see his older son, Jong-sun, sprinting towards him, his little legs pumping furiously. He was clutching something behind his back, which immediately raised red flags.

"Be careful, Jon!" Taehyung called out as the boy skidded to a stop in front of him, panting from exertion.

Jong-sun puffed out his chest. "Gift!"

Taehyung feigned excitement. "Oh really? What is it?"

Jong-sun’s eyes twinkled exited. "Eyes… close!" He demonstrated by squeezing his own eyes shut, waiting for Taehyung to follow suit.
