"You have finally completed the missing pieces, my dear Adrasteia. You have achieved mortality, at long last. For your 13th and final life. . . you must save Eldoria and Eldia. Save our people and the people of our savior."

Adrasteia's eyelids fluttered open, revealing her golden eyes, which glowed faintly in the dim expanse. She found herself in a realm of vast emptiness, with only a single beam of light piercing through the nothingness. Lying still, she cupped a handful of sand in her hands, watching as it slowly slipped through her fingers, the fine particles drifting away into the void.

She rose to her feet, her white off-shoulder dress flowing gracefully with every movement. As she stepped through the endless expanse, she wandered, searching for some sign of an edge, a boundary, or an end to the vast, infinite space around her.

"It's like I'm walking in circles. . . Where am I?" Adrasteia whispered to herself, her voice barely more than a breath in the vast emptiness.

"You're in the Paths, my Adrasteia."

Her heart jolted at the familiar voice, rapid beats pounding in her chest.

'That voice. . . that voice. . .'

She'd never forget it. It was the voice that had guided her through the darkness of her first life, the one that had taught her how to harness her powers and helped her navigate the chaos she had faced. A voice she had come to trust with everything.

Slowly, she turned, her golden eyes scanning the emptiness. Then, she saw her.

A woman, slightly taller than herself, stood in the light, radiating an ethereal grace. Her dirty blonde hair was neatly braided down her back, and a tiara with a diamond sat upon her forehead, catching the light with every subtle movement. She wore a white and gold gown, so intricate and regal that it could have belonged to a goddess. The moment Adrasteia's gaze met her, she felt a deep connection—one she couldn't place.

But it was the eyes that struck her the most. Those golden eyes, glowed with the same intensity as her own.

"You.  . . are you the voice that spoke to me?" Adrasteia's voice was trembling, uncertain, yet filled with wonder.

The woman smiled gently, her expression warm and knowing. "Yes, my dear."

Adrasteia's breath hitched. "Why did you disappear after my first life?" She took a step forward, her hands trembling at her sides.

The woman, her presence as commanding as it was soothing, nodded as if understanding the weight of the question. "I was always meant to be a guide," she explained. "My role was to help you discover the extent of your powers, to show you what you were capable of. Once you were aware of your abilities, I knew you would find your own way. You would learn to master them, just as I did."
