The Qinghe Nie sect's residence was located at the very center of Qinghe city. This city was the biggest in the entire continent and why all sects in Qinghe wanted to take over it.

The Unclean Realm, the Nie's residence stands at the sprawling heart of this very desired location, its tall snarky walls constantly serving as reminder of their domain over all of the other sects.

On a mid December afternoon the sky was gray and the rain poured all over the country. Small stalls were closed and barely anyone roamed the streets.

At the gates of the huge fortress city-like structure stood guards wearing raincoats, their roles undisturbed by the weather change. Within the tall walls of the nightless city multiple pavilions could be seen, all used for different purposes.

On the main pavilion, at the center of the whole body, stood Zhǎnxīn Táng*, the main dining hall of the unclean realm. Servants stood by the tall aging oak wood doors that secured the hall.

From within only yelling was heard.

There were only two people within the hall, the sect leader and his spouse, Jin Zixiàn. Nie Huaisang had previously left to go deal with issues at a diferente city representing the Nie sect, while the children would just be back in a month or so from now.

Ever since the sect leader's younger brother had departed there was no one to stop him whenever he argued with the younger man, so the two would go on until the older man got physical. All the servants were scared to interfere and stood outside as though they couldn't here them fighting inside again.

After a few minutes of loud arguing a loud sound came from inside, almost lie skin hitting skin, the servants outside the hall flinched with the sound... Língxiáng-Jun grew quiet. And eventually the huge door burst open. Nobody knew what the argument was about this time, but Chifengzun left the hall angrily without saying a thing to the servants who waited outside.

Walking in Jin Zixiàn was standing at the center of the hall, his back to the door. "Master Jin.." one of the female servants called but the man simply took a deep breath before speaking with a weak voice, "You're dismissed" he said and all the servants who had been waiting outside left.

He still didn't look back, his eyes were teary and the left side of his face was red from where he had been hit yet no reaction showed on his face. It had already been this way for years now anyways.
