Karia stepped out of the ship, the cool breeze hitting her face as she walked into the open field. She needed a moment to herself. The events from the past day weighed heavily on her-Broly's unexpected appearance, the battle, and the strange claim he had made about her. She couldn't shake the feeling of being trapped, of being marked without consent.
Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes for a moment, trying to calm her racing thoughts. She wasn't one to back down, especially when it came to her autonomy. But Broly's presence and power had shaken her more than she wanted to admit. Still, she wasn't going to let it define her. She refused to let him control her life.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt the ground tremble underfoot. Her eyes snapped open, and instinctively, she tensed. There was no mistaking the energy signature-Broly was approaching.
A chill ran down her spine, and before she could react, she heard his voice, low and commanding, cutting through the quiet of the field.
"So, you needed some air, huh?" Broly's deep, rumbling voice echoed through the open space.
Karia turned, her heart racing as she faced him. Broly stood a short distance away, his wild hair blowing in the wind, his eyes locked on her with a mixture of amusement and something darker. His presence was overwhelming, and his power radiated through the air like a storm about to break. She clenched her fists at her sides, refusing to let his intimidating aura affect her.
"What do you want, Broly?" she demanded, standing her ground. "I'm not interested in your games."
Broly smirked, taking a casual step forward, his every movement confident and controlled. "I don't play games, Karia. I came here because I wanted to see if you had calmed down after our little encounter."
Karia's pulse quickened at his words. "That wasn't an encounter, that was you marking me like some wild animal. I told you before, I don't belong to you."
Broly's smile didn't fade. Instead, it deepened as he took another step closer. "You think you can resist me? That bite wasn't just a fight. It was a declaration of my claim over you. And nothing you do will change that."
Karia's chest tightened with frustration. The nerve of him, to speak so casually about something so personal, so invasive. She wasn't some object he could just take, no matter how powerful he was.
"I don't care about your claim," Karia spat, her voice filled with defiance. "You don't get to decide my life. I'll fight you until the end."
Broly chuckled, the sound rumbling in his chest. "I like your spirit, Karia. But don't mistake that for power. You can fight me all you want, but in the end, you'll see. You won't escape what I've marked you with."
Without warning, he lunged at her, faster than she could react. Karia's instincts kicked in, and she moved to block him, but Broly was already too close. His powerful hand wrapped around her wrist, pinning her in place as his other hand shot toward her throat. He wasn't choking her, but his touch was like an iron grip, and the raw power emanating from him made it impossible for her to break free.
"Let me go, Broly!" she shouted, struggling against his hold. "I won't be your prisoner."
He looked at her, his expression unreadable for a moment before his lips curled into a smirk. "Prisoner? No. You're not my prisoner. You're... something more. Something that will belong to me, no matter how hard you fight it."
Karia's heart raced in her chest, a mix of anger and fear surging within her. She wasn't going to let him win. Not like this. With a burst of strength, she twisted in his grip, using her free hand to land a solid punch against his chest. Broly's smirk faltered as the force of the blow pushed him back a few steps.
"You think that's enough?" he growled, his eyes narrowing. "You'll have to do better than that."
Karia didn't wait for him to advance. With a fierce shout, she charged at Broly, throwing a series of quick, powerful strikes aimed at his face and chest. She could feel the energy flowing through her with every punch, her training under Whis paying off. She wasn't going to be taken down so easily.
Broly dodged the first few hits with ease, but the next punch caught him off guard. Her fist slammed into his side, sending a shockwave through the air. Broly staggered back, his eyes wide with something akin to surprise.
"That's more like it," he muttered, his grin returning. But this time, there was a flash of something darker in his eyes. "I knew you had it in you."
He lunged again, but this time, Karia was ready. She ducked under his attack and tried to land another blow to his midsection. Broly blocked it, his muscles tensing as he caught her fist in his hand. Before Karia could react, he twisted her wrist, forcing her to the ground.
"Not so fast," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You're not getting away that easily."
Karia winced as her wrist was twisted, but she gritted her teeth, refusing to show weakness. "I'll never give in to you, Broly. No matter how hard you try, I'll never belong to you."
Broly leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear. "We'll see, Karia. We'll see just how long you can resist."
