Karia stood on the platform of Beerus' planet, her heart pounding in her chest. She had faced countless battles, stared death in the face, and fought opponents far stronger than herself, but nothing could have prepared her for this. She was about to tell Lord Beerus she was pregnant-and worse, that the father was Broly.
Whis floated nearby, hiWhicher-present smile firmly in place as he observed her pacing. "You know, Karia, this really isn't as bad as making it seem. Lord Beerus is surprisingly sentimental... when he wants to be."
She shot him a glare, her arms crossing tightly over her chest. "This is Lord Beerus we're talking about. The God of Destruction. I doubt he's going to be sentimental about this."
Before Whis could reply, a familiar voice boomed from behind her.
"Karia! What's with all this fussing around? You look like you're ready to faint."
Karia turned to see Beerus approaching, his tail swishing lazily behind him. His golden eyes bore into hers, and she felt her courage falter.
"Lord Beerus," she began, trying to steady her voice, "I need to tell you something... important."
Beerus stopped in his tracks, his ears twitching. "Important? Is it about Broly? Don't tell me that brute's caused another problem."
Karia winced. "Well... it's about Broly, but it's not exactly what you think."
Beerus narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms. "Out with it, then. I don't have all day to play guessing games."
Karia took a deep breath. This was it. There was no going back now. "Lord Beerus... I'm... I'm pregnant."
The silence that followed was deafening. Beerus stared at her, unblinking, as if processing her words required all his divine energy. Whis, however, raised hThisyebrows in mock surprise.
"My, my, what an announcement! And here I thought today would be uneventful," Whis said, his tone lighthearted.
Karia braced herself for an explosion of anger, but instead, Beerus blinked... then blinked again.
"...You're... pregnant?" Beerus finally said, his voice almost... soft.
"Yes," Karia confirmed, shifting nervously under his gaze. "And before you ask, yes, Broly is the father."
Beerus' eyes widened slightly, his tail pausing mid-swish. Then, to everyone's shock, a wide grin spread across his face-a grin so genuine and unexpected that Karia froze in place.
"Ha! I knew it!" Beerus exclaimed, throwing his hands up in triumph. "I knew there was something between you two! Whis, didn't I say that?"
Whis chuckled. "Oh, you certainly hinted at it, my lord. Though I must admit, I didn't expect you to be so... delighted."
"Delighted?" Beerus repeated, turning to Whis with an almost playful look. "Why wouldn't I be? This is excellent news! A Saiyan grandchild raised under my tutelage? Imagine the potential destruction they'll be capable of!"
Karia's jaw dropped. "Wait... grandchild? Lord Beerus, are you saying... you're happy about this?"
"Happy?" Beerus repeated, laughing. "Of course I'm happy! Do you know how boring things have been lately? This is the most exciting thing to happen in centuries! I'll finally have someone worthy of inheriting my destructive tendencies."
Karia stared at him, utterly speechless. She had expected anger, disappointment, maybe even banishment-but this?
"Well," Whis said, his voice laced with amusement, "this is certainly a reaction I didn't foresee. Congratulations, Karia. It seems you've made Lord Beerus a very proud... grandfather?"
Beerus' grin widened as he straightened his posture. "Grandfather Beerus. I like the sound of that."
Karia buried her face in her hands. "This isn't happening," she muttered.
"Oh, it's happening," Beerus said smugly. "And you'd better prepare yourself, Karia. This child will be trained to perfection. They'll be the ultimate warrior, rivaling even me in powrivallinget's not get ahead of ourselves, my lord," Whis interjected. "Perhaps Karia would prefer a more... balanced upbringing for the child."
"Nonsense!" Beerus declared, his excitement undeterred. "This is my legacy we're talking about! We'll start training the moment they're born."
Karia groaned, her face still buried in her hands. "Why did I even come here?"
"To deliver the best news I've heard in centuries," Beerus said cheerfully.
Whis placed a hand on Karia's shoulder, his expression kind despite his amusement. "Don't worry, Karia. I'm sure Lord Beerus' enthusiasm will settle down... eventually."
Karia sighed, her nerves finally beginning to settle. Despite the absurdity of the situation, she couldn't deny that a small part of her was relieved. If nothing else, she had Beerus' support-however unconventional it might be.
As she looked up at the god of destruction, now grinning like a child with a new toy, she couldn't help but smile faintly. "Thank you, Lord Beerus."
Beerus waved her off, his tail flicking excitedly behind him. "Don't thank me yet, Karia. Just wait until we start planning their training regimen. Oh, this is going to be fun!"
Karia groaned again, but this time, there was a hint of laughter in her voice.
