Ingaria stood before the enormous doors, her hand hovering over the golden handle. Behind her, the universe stretched out in every direction, vast and unknown. She had faced many challenges already, but none like this. Today, she was about to walk into a place that was both familiar and foreign-an ancient temple nestled on a distant planet, one that had been the home to her ancestors. The Saiyan blood that flowed through her veins surged in recognition of the sacred ground before her.
As the doors creaked open, Karia felt a strange pull in her chest, an unexplainable connection to this place. The air inside was heavy, filled with the weight of history, of lost warriors and forgotten stories. Every step she took echoed in the vast chamber, her boots clicking against the stone floor. Whis, who had accompanied her on this journey, remained silent, sensing the gravity of the moment.
"This is the Temple of the Saiyan Ancestors," Whis explained softly, his voice carrying a reverence Karia hadn't expected. "It's here that the heart of your heritage lies, Karia. It is where your past, your family, and your true purpose began."
Karia nodded, though her emotions were mixed. She had never known much about her past-her true heritage beyond the fragments she had learned from Goku and the others. But now, standing in the heart of the Saiyan legacy, the pieces of her identity that had always felt out of reach seemed just a little closer.
The temple's vast walls were adorned with ancient murals depicting the history of the Saiyan race-warriors in battle, the rise and fall of civilizations, and the pride of a warrior's legacy. In the centre of the room stood a massive stone pedestal, its surface covered in glowing inscriptions. As Karia approached it, she could feel a surge of energy, a powerful force waiting to be unlocked.
"You have come to claim what is yours, Karia," Whis said, his voice gentle but filled with meaning. "This is where you will find answers about your true power-and where your destiny will be written."
Karia's heart raced as she placed her hand on the pedestal. For a moment, nothing happened. Then, slowly, the stone began to hum, the inscriptions glowing brighter with each passing second. A voice, ancient and powerful, echoed through the chamber, sending a chill down her spine.
"Who dares awaken the power of the Saiyan bloodline?" the voice boomed. It was deep and regal as if it belonged to someone long gone but never forgotten.
Karia stiffened but held her ground. "I am Karia, daughter of Bardock, sister of Goku. I seek the truth of my heritage and the power that flows through my veins."
The chamber seemed to shift as the voice responded. "The blood of the Saiyan royal family runs strong within you, Karia. But you are not merely of blood-you are of will. The power of the Saiyans and your father flows through you because you have the heart of a warrior."
Karia's pulse quickened. "My father? Bardock? You know him?"
The voice paused before replying as if considering her question carefully. "Bardock was a warrior of great strength, but also of great heart. He defied his destiny to protect his own. You, Karia, are the legacy of his defiance."
Karia's mind raced. The image of Bardock, her father, was one she had pieced together from stories and scraps of memory-his courage, his sacrifice, and his untimely death. But the idea that his legacy had shaped her in ways she had never known sent a wave of pride-and responsibility-through her.
"But my brother..." Karia started, her voice trembling slightly. "What of Goku?"
The voice responded with a deep, rumbling laugh. "Goku, like you, is part of this legacy. But his path was different. He chose his fate, as did you. The two of you are bound by blood, but you are not the same. His journey is his own, and yours is now unfolding."
