Karia adjusted her hold on Braxton as the little boy wiggled in her arms, his energy buzzing with endless curiosity. It had been a few days since her return to Earth, and though she cherished the warmth of Goku's family, the weight of the secrets she was keeping from Broly grew heavier with each passing day.

The triplets had settled surprisingly well into their new surroundings. Kaigen, the most curious of the three, had already managed to topple a stack of Chi-Chi's cooking pots, while Gokahn seemed content to sit and observe, his intense gaze a perfect mirror of his father's. Braxton, on the other hand, was the most vocal, his little cries demanding Karia's attention constantly.

As Karia sat on the back porch of Goku's house, watching the boys play on a blanket Chi-Chi had spread out, she couldn't help but feel the tug of unease. She knew her time of peace was limited. Broly was still out there, and while she had managed to keep her distance, she could sense his energy growing stronger every day.

That evening, Whis visited unexpectedly, his cheerful demeanour as enigmatic as ever. He floated down gracefully, staff in hand, his amused smile widening as he watched the triplets scramble to greet him.

"Well, aren't you three lively little ones," Whis said with a chuckle, bending down to let Kaigen tug on the hem of his robe.

Karia folded her arms, her gaze sharp. "What brings you here, Whis? Is something wrong?"

"Not at all," Whis replied, straightening up. "I simply came to check on my dear godsons-and, of course, to see how you're faring, Karia. However..." He paused, his expression turning more serious. "I do believe Broly has begun searching for you."

Karia's breath hitched, her heart skipping a beat. "He's... looking for me?"

Whis nodded. "Indeed. His energy has been spiking intermittently. I suspect he's piecing together your location."

Chi-Chi, who had been eavesdropping from the kitchen, walked out with a frown. "If that brute comes anywhere near my house, I'll give him a piece of my mind!"

Goku scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Uh, Chi-Chi, I don't think yelling at Broly is a good idea..."

"Why not? Someone has to!" Chi-Chi snapped.

Karia shook her head, her hands trembling slightly. "No... I'll handle it. When the time comes, I'll face him. But not now. Not yet."

Whis tilted his head, his serene expression betraying a hint of curiosity. "And what will you say when you do, Karia? Surely, he deserves to know about his sons."

Karia clenched her fists, her gaze fixed on the horizon. "I don't know. I don't even know how to explain any of this to him. He's... complicated."

"Perhaps," Whis mused, "but even the most complicated hearts can find clarity. That is, if they're given the chance."

Later that night, Karia sat alone in the quiet of her room, the triplets fast asleep in their makeshift crib. Her thoughts swirled, a storm of emotions threatening to overwhelm her. Broly's face haunted her-his intensity, his overwhelming presence, and the raw connection they shared. Despite everything, she couldn't deny the pull he had on her.

The moonlight streaming through the window cast a soft glow over the room. Karia placed a hand on her chest, feeling the steady rhythm of her heartbeat.

"Why can't I stop thinking about you?" she whispered to herself.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a faint cry. Karia quickly moved to the crib, gently scooping up Gokahn, who stirred in his sleep. The little boy nestled against her, his tiny fingers clutching her shirt.

Looking down at him, Karia felt a wave of love so intense it brought tears to her eyes. "You boys are my whole world now," she murmured. "No matter what happens, I'll protect you."

The next morning, as Karia prepared breakfast alongside Chi-Chi, Beerus arrived dramatically, landing outside with a yawn.

"Goodness, Karia," Beerus said as he sauntered into the house. "Raising three Saiyan infants must be exhausting. You should let me take them for a while. They could use some godly discipline."

Chi-Chi snorted. "As if you'd know the first thing about discipline, Lord Beerus."

Beerus waved her off lazily before focusing on Karia. "Joking aside, Whis and I have been keeping an eye on Broly. He's dangerously close to finding you, you know."

Karia tensed, her grip on the frying pan tightening. "How close?"

"Close enough that it's only a matter of time," Beerus replied. "You can't avoid him forever, Karia. Sooner or later, you'll have to face him-and not just for your sake, but for the boys."

Karia swallowed hard, her gaze dropping to the floor. She knew he was right. Hiding wouldn't solve anything.

"Don't worry, dear," Beerus added with an uncharacteristically soft tone. "If he causes trouble, I'll be there to remind him who's in charge."

Karia managed a small smile, grateful for Beerus's support despite his usual gruffness.

That afternoon, Karia took the boys out into the fields behind Goku's house, letting them bask in the sunlight. Kaigen, Braxton, and Gokahn giggled as they crawled through the grass, their laughter filling the air.

As she watched them play, a shadow passed overhead, and her heart clenched. Looking up, she half-expected to see Broly, but it was only Goku flying by, giving her a cheerful wave. She exhaled in relief, though the sense of foreboding lingered.

The storm was coming. She could feel it.

For now, though, Karia chose to savour these peaceful moments with her sons. She didn't know what the future held or how she would handle Broly when the time came, but she vowed to stay strong-for herself and her boys.

"Whatever happens," she whispered, watching Kaigen lift a flower toward her, "we'll face it together."
