The sun hung high in the sky, casting a golden hue over the landscape. The tranquil atmosphere of Goku's home had been interrupted only by the usual sounds of the triplets playing nearby. Karia had spent the morning keeping an eye on them, but her mind was elsewhere, tangled in thoughts of Broly.

She felt a stirring in the air, an unsettling pressure she couldn't ignore. Her senses prickled with awareness. She knew he was coming.

A moment later, she heard the familiar voices of Beerus and Whis. They were strolling over toward her, seemingly casual and unbothered.

"Well, well, if it isn't Karia," Beerus teased, his voice full of mischief. He'd been in a good mood lately, perhaps even in a better one than usual. "How's motherhood treating you? Getting used to those little rascals yet?"

Karia gave him a flat look. "They're fine," she muttered, not in the mood for jokes.

Whis, ever the cheerful and enigmatic figure, hovered beside Beerus with a smile. "Ah, yes. The little ones are truly a bundle of joy, aren't they?"

Karia nodded, though her attention was still elsewhere. Her gaze drifted toward the horizon, where the familiar, overwhelming energy of Broly's presence loomed large. Her heart skipped a beat.

She could feel him, and this time, it wasn't just his energy. It was his anger. It was a fury so strong, it made her stomach twist.

Beerus noticed her shift in focus and chuckled. "Something's on your mind, Karia. Care to share?"

Karia clenched her jaw and tried to steady her breath. She couldn't ignore it any longer. Broly was coming for her, and he was furious.

"I think I need to take care of something," she said quietly, her voice betraying her inner tension.

Whis caught the change in her demeanor. "Ah, I see. Are you perhaps expecting someone?"

Karia's eyes narrowed. "I didn't expect him to come this far."

Suddenly, the ground beneath them trembled slightly. The air thickened, crackling with the force of Broly's energy. It was almost tangible now. His rage was unmistakable.

Karia stood tall, her fists clenching. She could already hear his voice in her head, filled with anger. This wasn't just about her absence-it was something deeper.

"Go inside with the boys," Karia said abruptly, not wanting them to witness the inevitable confrontation.

Beerus raised an eyebrow. "You don't think you can handle this, do you?"

"I don't want them involved," Karia replied curtly, her gaze never leaving the horizon.

Whis nodded, ever the understanding figure. "We'll take care of the children, Karia. You handle what you need to."

As Beerus and Whis floated toward the house, Karia braced herself for the storm that was approaching. She could feel the ground tremble beneath her feet as Broly's presence grew closer, his ki flaring wildly.

And then, just like that, he appeared in front of her with a thunderous crash. His towering form, his wild hair, and that expression-dark, filled with fury, and something else... hurt.

Karia's chest tightened at the sight of him. Broly's eyes locked onto hers, and for a brief moment, the world seemed to stop.

"You think you can just leave me?" Broly's voice was low, dangerous, almost shaking with the force of his anger. "You think I wouldn't notice? I've been searching for you, trying to understand what happened, and you just... vanish?"

Karia's breath caught in her throat. She had expected this-expected the anger-but hearing it in his voice, feeling it in the air around them, made her heart ache.

"I needed time, Broly," she said, her voice steady, but there was a tremor behind her words. "I needed space. I didn't know what else to do."

Broly took a step forward, his fists clenched. "You could've told me that. Instead, you shut me out. You left me wondering what went wrong, if I had done something to push you away."

Karia felt her temper rising. "I didn't shut you out. I didn't know how to explain it to you. I was confused, okay? I didn't want to hurt you."

Broly's eyes narrowed, his energy growing more volatile with every passing second. "Don't lie to me," he growled. "You've been avoiding me. You left me with nothing!"

Karia's hands balled into fists. "You don't get it, do you? I couldn't deal with it all. I couldn't deal with you and everything you made me feel. You... you made me lose control!"

Her ki flared uncontrollably, crackling in the air as her frustration and emotions boiled over. Broly, seeing her reaction, took a step toward her, his own energy rising to meet hers.

"That's your problem, Karia," Broly sneered. "You never think. You run, you hide, you refuse to face anything! I tried to be there for you, and you just... ran!"

Karia's eyes flashed with anger. "I didn't run from you, Broly. I ran from myself!"

Broly was right in front of her now, his eyes blazing with fury. Without warning, he reached out and grabbed her arm, pulling her toward him. "You think you can just walk away from me?" he snarled.

Karia twisted in his grip, pushing against him. "Let go of me!"

But Broly's grip tightened, and before she could react, their fight escalated. The energy between them exploded in a vicious surge of power, as their emotions turned into raw, unbridled ki blasts that ripped through the air.

Karia, determined not to show weakness, retaliated with a blast of her own. Her fists struck Broly's chest, sending shockwaves through the air. But the anger between them kept escalating, each blow exchanged more intense than the last.

Despite everything, there was a part of Karia-deep inside-that still cared for him. She couldn't explain it, but her heart wrenched with every strike they exchanged.

As the fight raged on, Beerus and Whis had long since retreated inside with the children, knowing full well what was about to unfold. They weren't surprised-this was the inevitable clash of hearts.

In the midst of their chaotic battle, Karia's mind raced. She could feel it: she could feel the love for him, the pain, the longing. And though she fought with everything she had, deep down, she knew that this fight wasn't just about the past-it was about what came next.

As they clashed once more, a sudden realization dawned on her. She couldn't run anymore. She couldn't hide. This fight was their battle, and it wasn't just about power. It was about understanding, about acceptance, about something neither of them was willing to face until now.

And that made the next moment all the more inevitable.
