Adam woke as usual in his flat sitting up, He groaned a little as he found his bed empty with no Y/n to cuddle. He groaned in protest at the loss of his human pillow, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. The events of the night before had almost been pushed completely from his mind, but the reminder of him asking her to move in made his stomach churn and twist in anxiety. He looked around the room, and he almost laughed at how empty it felt without her presence. How could a flat feel so quiet and cold without her? He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and got up, pulling on a shirt and some joggers before he shuffled out to the living room,
"Awww There's the little night owl. Good Afternoon." Y/n laughed as she stood in the kitchen in her usual dress making some coffee,
He walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist in a tight hug as he leant down to rest his head on her shoulder, "You were gone when I woke up... that's not fair." he whines,
"Not fair?"
"Nope... how dare you leave before I wake up. I need cuddles in the morning." He pouted, in a half-joking, half-serious tone.
"Adam do you have any idea what time it is?" she laughed,
He tilted his head to look at the clock on the wall. It read Three PM. Woah, he had slept a lot longer then he had planned. But hey, that essay had been draining... and he could still hear the tiredness in his voice. "Ah... that late huh?"
"Mhm," she nodded, "I let you rest as you were so tired." she cooed handing him some coffee and kissing him,
He took the coffee from her relishing in the warm comfort of the drink. It was so much better than the iced coffee he'd been living off the night before. "Mmm... thank you babe." He reached his free hand up to cup her cheek and held her lightly, admiring how beautiful she looked, just as perfect as ever. The thought of what he had asked the night before had come back to him again, and the nervous feeling was back. He had an opportunity now, while she was here, and he wanted an answer. "Hey... uhm, Y/n... can I talk to you about something?"
"Oh? Go on?"
He swallowed nervously, and placed his cup of coffee down on the counter next to him before sitting down at the table. "Uhm... it's about what I asked you last night... about moving in with me?"
"I remember. What about it?"
"Well... I was hoping you had an answer for me..." He said trying to sound as calm as possible, fidgeting nervously as he spoke.
"Well... not an answer. But we can discuss it. Debate. Like big grown-ups." she chuckled tapping his nose as she took a seat across from him,
He chuckled softly, the way she said it was lighthearted but he could tell this was going to be a big decision. "Yeah, I suppose we can... well, as I'm sure you guessed I brought it up for 2 main reasons... firstly I wanted you here all the time, and I don't like you having to go back to that shitty apartment with your shitty landlord" he explained, "And secondly I..." He took a breath, swallowing as his nerves were back. He was going to say it, no backing out now. He was in too deep. "I love you, and I want to spend all my time with you... and I know we're only young, we have plenty of life left, but I can see myself spending my future with you. So if you moved in with me..." he rambled, "I'd wake up every morning with you next to me, I'd come home to you at the end of the day, I'd get to cook you dinner and watch shitty shows with you, and I'd get to fall asleep holding you every night..." He took her hands in his, and met her eyes directly, trying to read her expression. "So I guess you can probably tell that I want you to say yes... and I know it's a big decision for you and there's a lot to think about. And I know we're young but I... I was hoping you'd say yes. I'd love it if you did... " He swallowed again, his mouth feeling dry as he waited for her answer,
