It didn't take a genius to figure out that Dominik and Raquel weren't the biggest fans of each other, and for good reason.
Dominik saw her as another obstacle that stood in his way. Not to mention this new "persona" she seemed to have was comical to him to say the least.
Raquel went from a happy go lucky kiss ass who would smile in everybody's face to a stoic and "intimidating," leather clad bodyguard in cheap shades. She brooded around silently, chauffeuring him and Liv around and holding doors for them. It was so unlike her to the point that Dominik wondered if she had her own devious plannings in the works.
He also wondered how Liv was able to convince Raquel to join forces with them so easily. Sure they were friends, but Liv had essentially become everything that she and Raquel originally hated about Rhea that started this whole mess. And if Raquel had a sliver of a backbone in her wide ass back that she loved to show off so much, she should want nothing to do with Liv and especially not Dominik and the Judgment Day.
Raquel herself didn't trust Dominik as far as she could throw him, which granted, was probably pretty far.
She had seen first hand Dominik and Rhea's obsession with each other; they would do anything for each other, including Dominik costing Raquel two title opportunities for Rhea. It was odd to her how quickly he left Rhea to be with Liv, someone who he constantly displayed clear dislike towards. She didn't know what was going on with him, but she wasn't buying it.
It was evident in the way she was staring at Dominik as he lounged on the couch in the clubhouse with Liv tucked into his side, his arm wrapped securely around her as he toyed with the hem of her shorts.
The group sat around the Monday after Bad Blood, Finn leaned back on the other couch, his signature scowl on his face as he sipped on a protein shake while JD and Carlito bickered over who knows what.
Raquel sat on one of the chairs near the edge of the room, her arms crossed and her expression unreadable.
Dominik felt her eyes on him and could practically feel the weight of her disdain. Good. Let her watch. He shifted closer to Liv, pressing soft kisses to her temple and murmuring low words only she could hear.
He brushed a strand of Liv's hair behind her ear and leaned in, his voice low. "You look really good today princessa," He cooed just loud enough for Raquel to hear but intimate enough to make Liv blush.
"Thanks, Daddy Dom," Liv smiled, nudging him lightly.
Raquel's sharp exhale made Dominik's smirk grow. This was too easy.
"Alright I'm starving," Finn announced as he stood to his feet. "Let's head to catering before Braun can get there and eat everything in sight."
There were mutters of agreement from the other members as they prepared to leave the room. Raquel hesitated, her eyes darting between Dominik and Liv for a fraction of a second before following the others out.
Liv moved to stand, but Dominik's hand tightened around her waist, pulling her back down into his lap. "Not you," He said softly, his voice laced with an edge that made her pause.
She frowned in confusion, "We aren't going with them?"
"Not yet." His tone was calm but firm, the weight of his stare pinning her in place.
Once the door shut behind the rest of the group, the air in the room shifted. Dominik's arm slipped from around her waist. He trailed his hand up her thigh with his fingers before gripping it, his hold firm enough to keep her still.
"Why didn't you tell me about Raquel?"
Liv stiffened at the question, her eyes darting away from his. "I wanted it to be a surprise," She offered quickly, trying to smile.
